00:00Mindoro Tamarau Center Jonas Tibayan has formally filed a case against Jensen Warriors forward Mikuli Sorella following an incident in the MPBL last week.

00:10Tibayan was accompanied by Tamarau's team owner and Paula Mayor Jennifer Cruz at the National Bureau of Investigation on Monday.

00:18In a Facebook post, Cruz expressed her full support for Tibayan in pursuing the case to ensure accountability for the incident.

00:24It will be recalled that on August 11 during the game between the Mindoro Tamarau's and the Jensen Warriors at the Batangas City Sports Coliseum, Sorella suddenly punched Tibayan in the third quarter.

00:34As a result, Tibayan suffered a concussion, a bloody jaw, cuts on his lips, a lost tooth and a fractured left shoulder.
