00:56Very surprised actually, yung group of archers right now is really gaining ground. I think it's basically the programs that has been rolled out and we're continuing the program. It's continually increasing. So we're seeing lots of talents actually, surprise talents right now for us.
01:12One of the highlights for archery is because you don't need height, you don't need speed. Everyone shooting in the same environment, pareho tayong hinahangin, pareho tayong inuulan, pareho tayong in distance. So it's really skills, it's really technique.
01:25This is one sport that our chairman, our new chairman si Pato, Patrick Gregorio, is talagang encouraging. We go into sports that are for Olympics where we have the better chance and I think archery is one of them.
01:42Kabilang naman sa bumulsa ng medalya, ang national team member at ace archer na si Jonathan Riaport, matapos kunin ang gintong medalya sa Recurve Men's Team event.
01:53Anya, mas malaki ng chance na nilang makakuha ng podium sa darating na 2025 Southest Asian Games, kung saan sumabak siya noong 2022 at nagtapos sa ikaapat na pwesto.
02:02I think higher than before since from that time and now, we've been, at least yung team po namin ngayon, we've been teammates for already a few years. So back then, first time po namin sa SEA Games, so medyo rookie year, so medyo shaky and whatnot.
02:20So alam na namin ngayon kung ano yung level na kailangan namin abutin, all the experiences and trainings.
02:25Samantala, bukod sa Recurve, Compound at Verbo event, namayagpag din ang mga para-archers sa pamumuno ni Philippine para-archer team coach John Hungitan.
02:36Sa panayam ng PTB Sports, sinabi ni Hungitan na bukas ang uponan nila sa mga bagong para-athletes na nais ding magpakitang gilas at magrepresenta ng bansa sa international competitions.
