00:00Jimmy Kimmel is ready to fly the coop.
00:03He is prepared to leave America if necessary,
00:08if this war that he's had going for years now with Donald Trump gets worse.
00:14He didn't say what necessary means. That's the thing.
00:17So it wasn't even so much.
00:19Look, Trump said Jimmy Kimmel is next after Stephen Colbert's show got canceled.
00:26The reality is Stephen Colbert was beating Jimmy Kimmel.
00:30So if you're just going by ratings, any other late night host, Colbert had the best ratings.
00:35So the others, you're like, well, I don't know. Maybe I could be.
00:38They're neck and neck. But yeah.
00:40But the thing is, ratings don't seem to matter if you believe the narrative,
00:45which may be true, that Trump just didn't like Colbert because Colbert was super critical of him.
00:51And so is Jimmy Kimmel.
00:52Maybe more so.
00:53So is Jimmy Kimmel saying, he was on a podcast with Sarah Silverman,
00:58but is he saying, I'm going to leave if my show get cancels or if it gets difficult in America?
01:06And I think it's the latter.
01:10Okay, here's what he said.
01:12A lot of people I know are thinking about where they can get citizenship and stuff.
01:18I do have Italian, I did get Italian citizenship.
01:21You do?
01:21Oh, that's amazing.
01:23I do have that.
01:24And what's going on is, as bad as he thought it was going to be.
01:29Way worse.
01:30It's so much worse.
01:32It's just unbelievable.
01:34Like, I feel like it's probably even worse than he would like it to be.
01:40Probably, yeah.
01:40So it sounds like it is the latter.
01:43It sounds like it is.
01:45But I don't know what he's saying.
01:47Because Jimmy's never been about, yes, there's a part where he acknowledges, look, I could be on the chopping block.
01:54My show could be on the chopping block.
01:55But Jimmy, his complaints have always been about what he feels the president is doing to the country and to all citizens.
02:04But what is he talking about if it gets too difficult?
02:07Meaning what?
02:08Meaning what?
02:09Does that mean the show?
02:09I don't know.
02:10Does he mean show canceling?
02:10He talked a lot about immigration.
02:13He talked about how crazy it is that people are living in fear that they are suddenly going to be taken.
02:20But that's happening right now.
02:21Right.
02:22But he's talking, he sounds like he's talking in the future.
02:25If it gets, well, it's already gotten in that sense.
02:28So it's got to be something more than immigration.
02:29I would love to hear what, I hope he has a fresh show tonight.
02:32I would love to hear what Jimmy Kimmel is going to say about the National Guard being rolled out in D.C.
02:38Oh.
02:39To police.
02:39So, hold on.
02:40So, you know why I think he's doing this?
02:43Why?
02:45I know this sounds.
02:46Oh, boy.
02:47Why?
02:48Here we go.
02:48Let me see for this one.
02:50Conspiracy theory inbound.
02:51I am not sure Donald Trump is going to leave office voluntarily in 2029 on January 20th.
03:00Why?
03:01Well, because crime is actually down by double digits in D.C.
03:07And now he's calling in the National Guard.
03:12Am I wrong here?
03:13Okay.
03:14But you know you can be funny with numbers.
03:16It's one of the most unsafe cities in the country, period.
03:19It's going down.
03:20Okay, that's great.
03:21It's getting better.
03:21Is it horrible or no?
03:22But he's saying it's getting worse.
03:24Okay, but what does that have to do with him?
03:26What does that have to do with him not leaving office?
03:27Why is he, if he's calling the National Guard in, so the National Guard runs D.C., and he is in control of the National Guard, it's a lot easier.
03:38So you thought it was the Washington, D.C. Police Department that was going to go and bring him out of office?
03:44I don't know, Babcock.
03:45No, I think you're, this is crazy.
03:47I don't know.
03:48You said this last time, too.
03:49You said this in 2020.
03:51So, there was a riot.
03:53But he walked out.
03:55There was a riot.
03:56I'm saying after that, though, you said, no way he's leaving the White House.
04:00And he did.
04:01The Congress was fleeing.
04:03No, I'm saying after January 6th, you said he's not leaving.
04:07And then he walked out of the White House.
04:09He didn't want to walk out of the White House.
04:11Because January 6th didn't work out.
04:11Oh, my God, you know that.
04:13Jeez.
04:13I pointed to January 6th so they didn't want to go, Babcock.
04:15No, I think after, after.
04:18I'm Sean from Newark, Delaware.
04:21I think Jimmy Kimmel is just joking about leaving the U.S.
04:25Like, come on, y'all.
04:25Like, he's a comedian, and he's extremely sarcastic.
04:29He's always joking on people.
04:31But I also think he's really good at pointing out what he doesn't like about Donald Trump and how he's running the country.
04:37But he makes it very entertaining.
04:40So those are my thoughts on the situation.
04:41Can I give you two comedians that you're going to have to reckon with here?
04:46Ellen DeGeneres and Rosie O'Donnell.
04:49They both did leave the country.
04:51And they're funny.
