00:22it's more about porting the technology

00:24than the game specifically

00:26and so we were very fortunate here

00:28Epic had a very good platform integration

00:30for PlayStation already for Unreal Engine 5

00:32Once the build was running

00:34we were able to then have our tools team

00:36hook up all of our CI and infrastructure

00:38so that we would get nightly builds as well as

00:40being able to onboard the content team

00:42We are laughing at you

00:44We also have a system internally called Self Play

00:46which is able to play the game from start to end

00:48as well as attaching profiling tools

00:50to this while it does it

00:52This meant that very early on we were able to get

00:54the game verified as playing start to end

00:56and get a good overview of where our current performance was at

00:58This was a great position for us to start on the platform

01:02All of the features of Hellblade 2 are present

01:04and accounted for on PlayStation hardware

01:06and we've also added support for

01:08Adaptive Triggers, Haptics and Dolby Atmos

01:10The version of the engine that we shipped on

01:12was not PlayStation 5 Pro aware

01:14This meant we had to port features

01:16from later versions of the engine

01:18but it did allow us to enable features like

01:20PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution

01:22and variable rate shading

01:24Ultimately the porting of Hellblade 2 to PlayStation 5

01:26went very smoothly

01:28This meant that we could spend more of our time

01:30working on the new content as well as performance mode
