What is Laparoscopy?  ✔ In laparoscopy, we use a camera inserted through a small incision. ✔ This camera gives us a clear view inside the abdomen. ✔ The procedure is performed using long, thin instruments inserted through tiny keyhole incisions.  What is Robotic Surgery?  ✔ Robotic surgery gives us enhanced freedom of movement (with 9 degrees of rotation) ✔ It allows us to perform the same operation more precisely using smaller incisions.  Recovery:  ✔ Patients who undergo laparoscopic or robotic surgery can usually go home the next day. ✔ They can walk around, resume daily activities, and recover much faster compared to traditional open surgery.
