00:00The recent incident involving an upside-down Jalur Gemilang flag was most likely unintentional,

00:06National Unity Minister Aaron Agudagang said today.

00:09Acknowledging that the mistake had left a negative impression, he said it was important

00:20In a post on Exlater, Aaron also urged the public not to jump to conclusions without

00:25waiting for a full investigation.

00:27He called on all parties, including politicians, to avoid provocative statements or actions

00:32that could worsen the situation.

00:35The flag blunder which took place in Penang went viral with the circulation of a clip showing

00:40a man hoisting the flag upside down, filmed by another man.

00:44The man, a hardware store owner, said he corrected the mistake immediately after realizing it

00:49but was later arrested.
