00:00That was... impressive.
00:30Now every breath I take, feels colder than the fall, there is only pain, where love used to live, no one left to blame, no heart left to give.
00:45This is Dragon Fist VR Kung Fu by the developers ClickU Games and it was released on the 8th of February 2024.
00:52Guys, if you like fighting games, then you have to check out this game, so stick around.
00:58About the game. Choose a character, pick a location and fight. You have three rounds and each win is worth a star.
01:06With these stars, you unlock more fighters to fight and more locations to fight in.
01:11Levels and size. There are 14 fight locations from schools, a palace, ninja camp, a bamboo forest, restaurant, box arena and quite a few others.
01:21Each level is so well crafted. They are not huge locations, but then they are just fight spaces, so they don't need to be huge.
01:28But they are decent sizes and each one of them is just a work of art. Just beautiful.
01:33You can also buy the DLC packs for extras. In all, this game is going to give you many, many, many hours of playtime.
01:41Playable characters. I'm honestly not sure how many characters you can pick from.
01:46I have unlocked around 48 so far, each with alternative costumes, each with a unique special move.
01:52It could be invisibility, a gun, metal fists, a bladed hat, knives, a ball bearing and many more that I haven't got around to yet.
02:02When you select a character, there is a whole backstory to read on them. It tells you their special move, what their perk is and what their weakness is.
02:10Then you can also go practice their special move or select an alternative costume if they have one.
02:15Enemies. Well, the enemies are the other characters, each one having a strength and having a weakness.
02:22So be sure to read the notes before the fight. There are different difficulty levels you can fight in, from easy, medium, hard, harder and master.
02:31The fighting is decent. It's not brilliant, but it's not bad either. I'd have really liked to have seen each style shine through a little more obvious.
02:38But with so many characters, you can forgive this quite easily.
02:42But my favourite thing of all to do is bitch slap them for the final knockdown. I don't know why, I just find it funny.
02:49Mechanics. For the amount that's in this game, it's pretty impressive that I never encountered any bugs at all.
02:56No crashing, no weird walking through walls, no spazzing out. Everything worked exactly how it's supposed to.
03:03The jump kicking can be a little weird at times, but it's amazing that you can do a jump kick at all really.
03:09Controls. Controls are decent and there is a really great play through instructions training that will teach you all you need to know.
03:16From punching, finger jabbing, blocking, eye poking, throat poking, slapping, palm punching, jumping, kicking and jump kicking.
03:26It might take you a few games to get used to, but I find it so much fun doing flying kicks.
03:31Online playability. It's hard to comment on this because I didn't get to play with anyone.
03:36But it does offer a lot of games such as co-op mode where you fight alongside another player.
03:41A versus game where it's player versus player. And then more than two. A mode for more than two players.
03:47I had a look at this mode and it offered free for all, a team fight of two versus two.
03:53Arcade where it's one versus many. And soccer where it's two versus two.
03:58Game menus. Menus look amazing and fit right in with the game's themes.
04:03Slabs of concrete and slacks of wood have your choices wrote on them.
04:07Punch and break them to decide what you want.
04:10There is so much going on in the menu, but you have the usual single player, multiplayer, training chambers, practice room and options.
04:18Click into single player and you can pick from mixed reality on off, new game or continue from your last save and special modes.
04:26In special modes, you get full game modes, which offers normal game realism.
04:31So no slow motion, no health bars. Dragon doubles where you fight against duos.
04:37Stamina mode where to unlock you need to defeat an opponent in hard or master difficulty.
04:42One arm boxer mode, which to unlock, you need to win 30 fights.
04:46And then custom mode where you need to win 40 fights to unlock it.
04:50Single round modes offer single fight, arcade style, ninja challenge,
04:55Vertigo and Halloween special.
04:58Again, it requires you to defeat certain fighters to unlock these modes.
05:02My thoughts.
05:03This is the closest thing you're going to get to Street Fighter or Tekken in VR.
05:07I wish there was a real story level campaign mode so I could play it more.
05:11And the game's levels and the characters look so good.
05:14I feel that they could make an amazing solo or co-op campaign mode.
05:19Maybe that'll be in Dragon Fist 2 should they make it.
05:21They also announced that in the future, they are bringing in a feature where you can craft your own fighter.
05:26I'm not sure what that entails, but it sounds fun.
05:29I love the unlocking fighters levels and game modes as you progress through the game.
05:34A lot of developers don't seem to understand how important this style is to keep gamers engaged and interested in playing their game.
05:41Another feature which I think is pretty awesome is you can choose computer versus computer and then spectate it.
05:47But you view it in like a mini form overlooking the entire fight space.
05:51You can zoom in or view from far back.
05:54It's pretty awesome.
05:55And then they have also just released a camera where you can record footage, which I'm just going to play now so you can see what it does.
06:02Anyway, I was really surprised by this game, which is so nice.
06:06It's great that VR games can still surprise you at times.

06:15Thanks, guys, and happy gaming.
06:45Guys, we're not a lot of people.
06:50I talk to you later.
06:51I eat.
06:52I eat.
06:53A使命!
06:54I eat.
06:55But nothing prepared me for finding you not here.
07:02This is the lowest of all.
07:05The silent screams and a little with多.
07:09I'm drowning in my wreckage
07:13No place left to go
07:16Yeah, this is the lowest
07:19The lowest of all lows
07:22Your name's a ghost that haunts my breath
07:25A love that died a slow, quiet death
07:30I beg the sky, I curse the rain
07:35But no one listens when you're breaking in vain
07:41I called your name
