00:00Thank you Connie, good afternoon everybody and match day two in the William Hill Premiership and already there is ground to make up after the opening day last weekend, Russell Martin makes his first league game at Ibrox following the draw at Fur Park, the quest for the title is very much in its infancy but Rangers can ill afford to allow their rivals to further increase that gap.
00:30The home fans will demand it, in the wake of the midweek team news leak, Russell Martin names the same starting 11 that dispatched Victoria Pilsen on Tuesday night, so Max Ahrens continues ahead of James Tavernier at right back and John Suter wears the captain's armbrand, Oliver Antman made an immediate impression on European duty and makes his league debut on the opposite flank, JD Gassama now has four goals in his first four games and having made the move from Dundee over the summer,
00:59Lyle Cameron starts against his old team. Stephen Presley makes two changes from last weekend's defeat to Burnian, Dre Wright comes in for Ethan Ingram while a debut is handed to striker Joe Wesley who signed from Burnley this week, Paul Digby, Callum Jones and Ashley Hay are fellow new arrivals but Dundee are without captain and talisman Simon Murray while Jan Danda is suspended having just made the move on loan from Hart to Midlothian yesterday.
01:27Don Robertson is in charge, Ross McLeod and Jonathan Bell his assistants and Matthew McDermott and Gary Hillen on VAR duty.
01:42Well, like Rangers, Dundee are under new management, Stephen Presley returning to a Scottish dugout for the first time in well over a decade and back to a ground that he knows well having been a former player coming through the youth ranks at Ibrox.
01:59It has been a rocky start for Dundee this season, out of the Premier Sports Cup, beaten on home soil in the opening weekend of the season.
02:11Rangers unbeaten under Russell Martin, but concerns were raised by early performances, particularly at Motherwell a week ago, and the new boss was very vocal in his displeasure.
02:28The reaction, though, on Tuesday night was emphatic, dispatching Victoria Pilsen in that vital Champions League third round qualifier first leg and Rangers will head to the Czech Republic.
02:44Again, this midweek to try to see out that tie, but Michael Stewart alongside me.
02:53Do you think that Tuesday night was enough to really start to get Rangers fans excited about where this team might take it?
03:02Well, it certainly started, I would suggest, but they need to keep following it up with performance after performance because over the last few years I would suggest there's been a couple of what have turned out to be false dons for Rangers sides and managers that have been in charge.
03:20So today's a big one, they need to back up again, midweek against Pilsen was very good, and Antman, of course, coming in, really brought a different dynamic to the Rangers side, attacking down both sides with Gassama on the left and Antman on the right, blistering pace, and obviously getting Destler's back in up top as well, that made a huge difference for them.
03:43It was well read by Joe Wesley to win it back for Dundee, Rangers looking to press high and win the ball back quickly, Dre Wright will challenge with Jephty, this is Wesley again, signed this week from Burnley.
04:00Play through the middle or out wide and that will look to be the way that he will operate this evening, with Ashley Hay leading the line.
04:13That is flicked on by Hay and Finlay Robertson, Rani Samuels now back to Robertson, got that goal last week against Hibbs, didn't score last season but already off the mark, this campaign will be at that top end of the park where Dundee simply
04:43have to improve and particularly, Michael, when somebody like Simon Murray isn't playing.
04:50Yeah, of course, I mean, it goes with the same when you lose a talisman like Simon Murray, then it's a negative and it puts a lot more emphasis on the rest of the players, but
05:00there was a moment there when Finlay Robertson picks the ball up, he's got space, the weight of his pass for Samuels just was poor, it was short, it took all the momentum out of the attack and it's moments like that that are very important because they're not going to be dominating the ball here at Ibrox and territorially when they get into some dangerous areas they've got to be on point a lot better than that moment there from Finlay Robertson.
05:28Is there still some winning over of the Dundee support to be done for Steven Presley?
05:34Yeah, I mean, look, I don't think it's a stretch to say yes, I think it's just pointing out the facts that for Steven Presley it's very important that he shows that he's moving this team in the right direction and there's some progress this season.
05:53If that doesn't happen then, yeah, I think pressure will mount of course, but it's, I think at Dundee the questions that need to be posed are not so much of the manager now, I think it's those above, you know, we've spoken a lot about Tony Docherty's sacking.
06:09So Kasama picks out Ahrens, now Antman what an electric start it was for him on Tuesday night, two assists, the man on the other flank, Kasama, two further goals.
06:25We are already seeing the identity of how Russell Marks' team will want to play the game.
06:40And he'll have a big part in that Antman and that Ngunsama that we're already talking about, especially when you're playing against a side that are going to try and be very compact and difficult to break down.
06:53Sitting deep, using the width for Russell Martin's side will be very important.
06:59You've got to have players that are capable of beating the opponents 1v1, taking guys out of the game with the running power.
07:12Well again, up went Ashley Hay, he won the header, flicked it on and a nasty head knock as Nasir Jiga came to challenge for it.
07:29Both players back to their feet.
07:56There's Luke Graham.
07:57The kick for Dre Wright.
08:00The kick for Dre Wright.
08:01Signing from St. Johnson after they were relegated.
08:27They're calling for some help.
08:32Comes from Hay.
08:38These were the sort of games towards...
08:43Well, in the second half of last season it caused all sorts of problems for Rangers.
08:47Went from the second of February until the 11th of May without recording a victory at Ibrox.
09:00Title challenge petered out.
09:02Samuels.
09:08Digby helps it further forward to Graham but then cut out and Rangers will look to break with the pace of Ant-Man who's closed down quickly by Robertson.
09:18Well, you can see the Dundee side, they're trying to make sure that things are very tight through that middle, forcing Rangers on the outside of their...
09:40their system...
09:42their system...
09:43blocking off any passing lines.
09:47And then when John Suter was able to do one there, Dessler's has got to do a lot better.
09:55He's got to hold that up and link the game better.
09:57Right to Callum Jones, takes the contact from Lyle Cameron.
10:12At his first start against Victoria Pilsen, the European debut for Cameron, and he certainly impressed on Tuesday night.
10:20Stepping into the Rangers jersey, filling in well.
10:23doing it on a regular occasion will be the challenge for the young midfielder.
10:50Jig up.
10:52Rockwell.
10:53Ahrens looking over the top.
10:56Ant-Man has plenty of pace to get in behind defences but that one was well beyond him.
11:03Well, you can understand what Max Ahrens is trying to do there in terms of stretching the game because at the moment it's been a little bit...
11:09lacking in penetration, a lot of it's been in front of the Dundee team.
11:14But just like that pass there from Digby, there's got to be greater quality with it.
11:22And the ball from Max Ahrens is a lot of space to hit there.
11:24It was never threatening.
11:26It was never threatening.
11:26Dundee certainly didn't get off to the ideal start this season there.
11:35the Premier Sports Cup group stage, saw them fall at the first hurdle, defeats to Airdrionians and Aloe
11:43Athletic.
11:44There's no way back in the group from there and an opening defeat in the Premiership to
11:51Hibernian last weekend when they only managed two shots on goal.
11:59And very much in the same vein as that game last week, you can see how deep the whole team from Dundee are.
12:04There's not a single player, you know at that moment there you're talking about 35 yards from goal, the whole team sitting in deep.
12:15Jephte, over the top of Desser's touch from Graham, cleared by Samuels but only as far as Ahrens and Rangers can try to probe down that right-hand side again,
12:30Diamande seems to be being held on to, managed to retain possession now, Jephte, Gassama, the camera makes the move beyond him.
12:43Down goes right to relieve some of that pressure on Dundee.
12:50Well it's exactly that because when you see when the ball drops Herdre right here, he has next to nobody to hit.
12:57I'm not actually convinced that that was a free kick, it looked as if he was getting his body across Kazama and then just going down very easily.
13:08But if he was to land on the ball when you've got the team so deep, the first pass is so important but you've got nobody within more than 10-15 yards of you makes it difficult to break out from that position.
13:25Digby, Samuels, Robertson, Finlay Robertson, of course Clark Robertson in the middle of the back three wearing the captain's armband.
13:38You can see that it was almost like a front three there just with Robertson and Wesley either side of Haight and then they're dropping in once that ball's coming a little bit further forward and it looks more like a 5-4-1 at times.
14:03Now once they work their way further out the park the whole team just dropping right back in trying to kill any space in behind but also making sure that there's no space between the front line and the midfield and the midfield and the defence.
14:21There's Jiga, Ahrens, Clenden is more natural right hand side for the second straight game.
14:33First three games that he played in a Rangers jersey where there's a left back.
14:39Rangers well up to speed having played three European games now.
14:45Success in Athens to knock out Panathinaikos and looking good to make it all the way to the playoff round of the Champions League at least.
14:57I don't think there's any question that midweek against Victoria Pilsom is by far the best performance so far from Rangers.
15:15Wintett here this afternoon, first ten minutes or so just being stifled a little bit from Dundee.
15:25They've been able to slow Rangers play down a little bit.
15:29Four alterations from the team from last weekend.
15:39Tavernier, Rasca, Dowell and Danilo all dropping out from that side.
15:45I wonder when you do make changes like that and the manager comes out with such strong comments, people will read into that.
15:55That maybe those were the four that he was pinpointing not happy with their particular performances.
16:06Osama to Rothwell.
16:08Well, I mean, as much as the manager wants to downplay after the fact, you know, he came out and said there was players there that were doing what they wanted and not what they were being asked to do.
16:20I mean, you've got two big names that get dropped.
16:22It's not a stretch to look at that and think, well, perhaps they are some of those guys that he's been talking about.
16:32So he's not messing about, that's for sure the manager and he's going to need to continue to back up those words with his side having performances like midweek against Pilsen.
16:47Pressure on Graham from Diamande.
16:52Straight to Ahrens.
16:53See, I'm not sure why Jephte's stepping on the inside there, you know, everything is so congested centrally and he's running into that congestion.
17:08Pull away, get into the space.
17:12He can come and play really wide and it's not going to be shutting any passing line into Gassama.
17:17Diamande looks to slip that through to Cameron.
17:21Now Dessers, intricate passing from Rangers, not quite opening up the Dundee defence.
17:29But it's better, you know, two or three penetrative passes trying to cut through Dundee.
17:37You can't have any criticism once it's in and around the box like that, and it just doesn't quite come off the first occasion in the game so far.
17:45Far better play, it was quicker, it was more incisive from Rangers.
17:54Got a space for Rothwell to drive forward.
17:59Back from Diamande.
18:01Jephte.
18:04Slip that through to Gassama, big chance for Gassama, Dessers!
18:08Dundee scrambling away.
18:13Why is he not just pin that into the far corner, Ronny?
18:18We've seen him doing it already in a Rangers jersey.
18:20Really good play.
18:25Shefty playing that slide-rail pass for Gassama, and you're just thinking he's going to slide it into the far corner.
18:33By the far corner.
18:36His confidence is so high at the moment now, he wants to take Andre Wright.
18:41Wesley coming back to try and help out his team-mate.
18:45Cameron for Suter.
18:50Former Dundee United player, of course.
18:55Antman.
18:59Giga.
19:03Diamande.
19:04Neat one, two with Rothwell.
19:05Diamande.
19:07Out to Ahrens.
19:11Rips it in with the left, but didn't get it past the first man in Digby.
19:15But it just turns very quickly into another attack.
19:18I just think this style of game from Dundee is so, so tiring.
19:23Physically, mentally.
19:27You just wonder how long they're able to keep it up.
19:29Chasing shadows a lot of the time.
19:36Jefty.
19:38Looking for Antman.
19:40Larry Samuels has got a flick on it, but the fin keeps it alive.
19:45Ahrens.
19:50Another wave of Rangers attacks.
19:52Suter.
19:58Dessers will make first contact.
20:01Digby helps it clear, but has to go in to win it back.
20:09That is one high up the park by Diamande, picks out Dessers who goes down now.
20:15Cameron and Rothwell with the strike.
20:17There's no out ball.
20:19No out ball for Dundee and it's, that's led to the turnover.
20:23We'll look at this challenge again.
20:26On Dessers as the ball comes in here.
20:28Don Robertson waves it away.
20:29And the shots dragged from Rothwell.
20:42Look at this one from Gassama, just wonder why he doesn't guide down to the far corner.
20:47So VAR have looked at that challenge on Surreal Dessers, Matthew McDermott and Gary Hilland have decided nothing to alter in the on-field decision from Don Robertson, so it will be the goal kick.
21:07You can see there nothing to pull up, Jones just sliding past them.
21:17But you know, I think that's where the criticism of Surreal Dessers comes when it's in the box like that, needing to have quick feet and take a good touch.
21:26Quite often it becomes a bit loose.
21:30It's Diomondi, certainly, when Giga and Butlin had it there, Dundee were keen to press high up the park tray right now, having to go back to deal with Gassama.
21:48It breaks for Cameron, Dessers in the middle, Antman now, and knocked over the top from Hammond Diomondi.
21:55That again is quicker from Rangers, there's more pace in the attack.
22:09And it drops down here, Antman just laying it off nicely for Diomondi but never able to get over it.
22:14Over it.
22:23Pay the target again, Giga was being held by the striker.
22:27The striker.
22:50Antman.
22:51Aarons on the touchline, Diomondi, Giga.
23:05Diomondi losing out to Robertson.
23:10Graham.
23:11Back to McCracken who slams it out of play.
23:15Again, it comes down to the fact that when Graham gets the ball he has nothing to hit in front of him that's going to relieve any pressure.
23:23He ends up going back to the goalkeeper and he smashes it straight out of the park.
23:29The Rangers are able to build another attack.
23:31Last week.
23:32Motherwald did manage to get plenty of joy in creating opportunities against Rangers, 17 shots in all.
23:45Another Rangers corner to be taken by Rothwell.
24:03Did get the assist for James Tamanier's goal at the front park last week.
24:06To have to wait as John Suter goes down in the middle.
24:22The Interimation for Key and Joe Wesley.
24:41The Interimation for Key and Joe Wesley.
24:44The Interimation for Key and Joe Wesley.
24:49Don Robertson keeping a close eye on those two.
25:00Rothwell, the two Dundee players, it was Ashley that took it away Diermonde,
25:08the header, and now Leal Cameron, clipped to the back post,
25:13comes off Samuels and Rangers will have a corner on the far side this time.
25:18Well Rangers knocking at the door at the moment, Dundee just about hanging on.
25:27You can see here Lyle Cameron trying to pick out Dessers as he was running round the back there,
25:31Samuels being able to just get the touch on and put it behind for another corner.
25:43This time Diermonde to take that one.
25:47The target was Rothwell.
25:50This is a complete mishit.
25:52And we have, of course, the Premier Sports Cup second round coming up next weekend.
26:03All the eight games live on the Premier Sports player, but we also have our live TV selections.
26:09Celtic against Falkirk on Friday night, Premier Sports 1 from 7.15.
26:13And then we're back here on Saturday for Rangers against Allo Athletic from 5.15 on Premier Sports 1.
26:20And La Liga returns next weekend and Premier Sports will have the rights until at least 2028,
26:26over 34 games per season and it all kicks off next Friday evening in Girona.
26:33hotline coming under pressure.
26:47And Kirstie Hay making a nuisance of himself.
26:53Just a reminder to the Rangers, they do have the ball at the back, Dundee will press that high.
27:01Well it's just a couple of moments there for Russell Martini, he'll be not best pleased with because it just alleviates the pressure that had been building against Dundee.
27:12Slack corner, stick it out for a shy on the far side, playing out for the back and Dundee have been able to close them down.
27:23Cameron just waiting on that, Dre Wright's sort coming.
27:29Jones has got to play forward there, he's got to play forward in the middle of the park, look at this.
27:36They end up giving the ball away in their own half potentially.
27:40Harry Samuels wins it for Finn Robertson and now Samuels can only pick out Suter in the middle who steadies things, calms it down again for Rangers before Rockwell can start one of those driving runs.
27:52Antman out on the right hand side.
27:57Antman, Gasama, looking to bend it into that far corner, well off target in the end.
28:06Just swinging one way than the other passage of play there, now look, you can see that Gasama, he loves being in that position and trying to find the far corner.
28:19It's just, makes you wonder why he didn't attempt it when he was in there with good controlled possession before.
28:26That occasion he's getting shut down and he was still trying it.
28:29Max Ahrens, that's a digger.
28:58Jim Suter, on camera.
29:06Just getting involved now, Jeff D.
29:12Jerry Massama.
29:21Suter.
29:24Deep and compact.
29:26Asking Rangers to find a way to try and break them down, which is yet.
29:34They have not.
29:37Diamande, Antman.
29:38Ball clipped in, but at a stretch.
29:46John McCracken was able to take it and now he looks to release it early for Ashley Hay.
29:52Surrounded by two Rangers players, but Hay got there first.
29:55Well, certainly looking from this angle, you're wondering why you guys let that ball bounce.
30:08Looked as if he was in control of it, but then letting it bounce.
30:12There's a split second there, you're looking at Hay getting on it and potentially getting him behind the Rangers' defence.
30:19Well read by Callum Jones, arrival from Hull City.
30:36They just don't have enough runners in the team there.
30:41You can see he wins the ball, nobody's running in behind for him.
30:44That's where the likes of Simon Murray is missed big time, because if you land on the ball like that, you know for certain Simon Murray's going to be on his bike, running in behind.
30:54His energy covers at least two players, doesn't it?
30:59Samuels out to Robertson.
31:02Hay in the middle, and we've seen that he's an aerial presence that comes off a Rangers player and out for a Dundee corner.
31:12As long as it stays at 0-0, the longer the game goes on, the more Steven Presley will feel like it's working.
31:21Especially when they get the odd foray up the park and they're getting set pieces like this, it brings an opportunity to put a little bit of pressure on the Rangers' goal.
31:37Set pieces have been a big focus training for Dundee.
31:41Will this come to Robertson?
31:42Well, two or maybe even three Rangers players, Diamonde, Giga and Antman, all out to defend that, and the header comes off the post.
31:54Clark Robertson that rose an inches away from the opener, with half an hour played at Ibrox.
32:01Rangers survive.
32:02Well, there's a couple of moments that are really heart in the mouth for Russell Martin.
32:12What a block.
32:13I think it was Giga that had the block on Finn Robertson, because he's landing on the penalty spot.
32:18In the middle of the goals, you're thinking, he's surely going to find the back of the net.
32:22And then quickly followed up with Clark Robertson's header there.
32:26Jack Butlin was a spectator.
32:27Unfortunately for Rangers, it's off the post and right into his hands.
32:37Rothwell can only pick out the head of Samuels.
32:40Now under pressure towards that corner flag from Antman, he's done well to find Digby.
32:47Launch clear by Graham.
32:48Rangers tidy things up between Rothwell and Giga, and now up to Dessert as he gets turned.
32:58Almost away from Clark Robertson, who just got a vital toe-in.
33:10statue.
33:12Sooter into the feet of Dessert again.
33:21Dessert conflicts it through, looking for Cameron.
33:21Well, it was intricate, but the flag goes up on the far side.
33:23Oh, he's done well to that.
33:23He's done well to that.
33:24He's done well to that.
33:26He's done well to that.
33:27Gifted well to that.
33:28He's done well to that.
33:29the far side see that's far better from Dessler's I know that obviously it's been flagged offside
33:35than them but it's good strength good feet and it's not a bad ball that he's flicking on the
33:43inside there obviously he's well offside though it's actually Ant-Man that gets the block there
33:50but then this ball's right back in Clark Robertson gets up really well as I said
33:55Jack Butlin's just a spectator
34:02one by Hay and Jiga to make sure he got enough on that back to Butlin because
34:08if only Robertson was right on his back
34:11Gossama help comes from Rothwell well Cameron will lay that one off out for a throw-in
34:29and enough in the last couple of minutes just for Rangers to
34:33realize they're not going to have it all their own way
34:45to this point Steven Presley's game plan is working
34:51right to Wesley and Hay will chase this down and get there
34:55only Finn Robertson in the middle and he looks for him now Aarons has to be careful and
34:59he perhaps got fortunate to knock that out for a corner
35:04incredibly fortunate never looked comfortable as that ball was getting played across
35:09and I'm really not sure what he was trying to do I mean he's trying to back you in a dangerous area
35:21in that position he just has to sweep his right foot and put it out for a corner you cannot be putting
35:29that back into a dangerous area and it sort of looked like that's what he was trying to do
35:35well the last corner for Dundee created two of the best chances of the game it might come to
35:42Robertson again here just took too much time allowed Gossama to close it down but
35:48Jones will look to deliver again and there is Robertson he's at the post again Clark Robertson
35:53the flag is up against the Dundee captain in any case
35:56well Rangers look all over the shop and balls are coming out of their box at the moment they really
36:04do not look like they're comfortable yeah you can see Clark Robertson's well offside but
36:11he's completely unmarked around the back post
36:16you know if he had got himself in line then he's got a free run at that there
36:21and again you know the corner comes in it drops to the edge of the box and Finn Robertson's got
36:30the opportunity to step onto there's nobody up against him I know it was coming at a wee bit of
36:34pace but you do wonder and think to yourself he's got to try and attempt to hit that first time
36:40never looked like it was a situation where he was going to be able to get a touch on it first
36:44before having the strike two very similar scenarios that arrived from the last two Dundee corners a
36:55opportunity for Finn Robertson on the edge of the area and then Clark Robertson with a header coming back
37:02back off the post
37:06Gassama through to Cameron stabbed clear by Clark Robertson
37:20Souter again Jiga 10 minutes to go until half time sliding in early was Samuels
37:32Souter
37:39now Rothwell
37:47Aaron's back to Jiga Ant-Man
37:51so the problem is when you're playing that pass after four or five short ones out to Ant-Man he's
37:57actually drifting away from goal they need to be hitting the white men as quickly as possible
38:04and create that space so
38:11good friends off the park
38:14Jephte closed down well by Wesley
38:16Jones back for Ashley
38:25Dre Wright wants a scorer for Hibernian a two-all draw against Rangers
38:32clipped up towards Joe Wesley
38:37a hearted appeals for handball
38:41spinning right on the line
38:46Souter
38:56good ball into the feet of Dessers
39:03and he was being held
39:06by Clark Robertson who thought that the free kick was coming his way I believe and then now realizing that it's actually going to be for Rangers
39:13about 22-23 yards out from goal
39:17yeah he has got his jersey you can see there
39:21I think he's arguing it's both players at it and you can see it is the case there
39:26Dessers has got a fistful of Clark Robertson's jersey as well
39:30but fortunately for the Rangers striker it's the blind side of the referee and he doesn't see it
39:34but that's another one of those instances where Dessers he needs to be far tighter in his control
39:45and
39:45and taking that ball in
39:49he eventually takes a touch and he was going to lose the ball anyway
39:52he's fortunate that he's got the free kick here
39:54you need that front man to be that focal point and be really
39:58tight and clean with his possession and just too often it's not the case with the serial Dessers
40:04all eyes on Joe Rockwell
40:15as he looks for his first Rangers goal Rothwell takes a touch off the
40:20top of the wall and out for a corner which will be taken by the English midfielder
40:29didn't look like it was going to be right in the corner
40:34it flicks off the wall gives Rangers another opportunity from a set piece to try and get
40:40the opener before half time
40:46Rothwell delivers once more again two Dundee players go for it and maybe get the
40:52cleanest of clearances it was Dessers that smashed it back into that goal area
41:04so
41:09Cameron
41:11Souter
41:14Rothwell
41:19Jephte
41:22Gassama
41:27It seems to open up but
41:28His pass was straight to Finlay Robertson
41:33Luke Graham up the line
41:37Robertson goes down under the challenge of Rothwell
41:39Dundee have actually managed that situation pretty well
41:44There's been a few of them recently where one of the midfielders picks the ball up
41:47They've got nothing in front of them
41:49They've actually been able to retain possession quite well
41:52And that's needless from Joe Rothwell there
41:55He wasn't even really physical on Finlay Robertson there
41:59And he's given away a free kick
42:01It allows Dundee out
42:03Rangers will have it straight back
42:08Much further back
42:11The final five minutes of the half
42:18Suter, Jefty
42:23Rothwell
42:27Asking for more out to that right hand side
42:30Now Desser's made himself available
42:32Gassama
42:36I've been mounting up
42:50You see in moments like that where eventually Jefty plays the ball to Gassama
42:55He's 18 yards or so from the byline
42:58There's loads of bodies in and around him
42:59There are so many occasions when it's deeper in the park
43:03Fullback picks the ball up and he just goes back into the centre half
43:06I think on those occasions you just want to get the ball out of your feet
43:10Hit the wide man
43:11Give him more space to go and attack
43:13Instead it becomes like a horseshoe
43:16It's like round the other side and just repeat
43:19Rothwell's ball in looking for Dessers
43:23Wesley trying to launch it further clear
43:27Don Robertson having a long look at that
43:31To Monday
43:33Certainly the contact on Antman was in the box
43:36Jefty
43:37Rifles that one just wide
43:39Well to be honest I was wondering whether Don Robertson was going to blow for a free kick to Dundee
43:46But then he's allowed the game to play on
43:48Just as the ball breaks out and Trey Wright's going
43:53It's a bit clumsy from Dessers, Wright and Antman eventually is the one that falls down
44:03But difficult to tell from that angle
44:06If we get a better view here
44:09Yeah you can see Dessers is trying to step across Trey Wright
44:13I mean I think the referee actually just calls it right
44:16Just get on with the game
44:17Looks well over the top of Wright from McCracken
44:31Jiga
44:38Crowd gave him the warning
44:42Rockwell
44:45Drives well
44:47Diomondi now
44:48Aaron's outside him
44:50Rangers streaming forward at pace
44:53They will have to settle for the throw-in on the far side
44:56Giga will go to Aaron's and now back with the man on loan from Wolves
45:10Sliding in Samuels, read it well
45:25Graham under pressure from Diomondi
45:30Paul digby
45:32Paul digby
45:33Paul digby
45:37Paul digby
45:51And again
45:56And again
45:56To Hay but unable to get a touch the striker and Rangers will come back looking for the opening goal before half-time
46:10Spine Jiga and Gisama
46:12Giga and Gisama rather
46:13Final minute
46:22With another one to be added beyond that
46:26And again
46:30Pretty happy so far
46:32Intent to see out these final moments of the half
46:38gia
46:50Jіfferd
46:53Souter
46:54Rothwell
46:56Souter and Rothwell.
47:05Rangers haven't quite carried on where they left off against Victoria Pilsen,
47:10although there were concerns from Russell Martin for the final 15 minutes
47:14of that performance, it certainly wasn't perfect,
47:17but a 3-0 victory, very impressive nonetheless.
47:20Well read by Clark Robertson.
47:23Confirmation of the one extra minute that we're into now.
47:38Tiga, Rockwell, Dessers.
47:44It's another one of those moments, Rory.
47:47You need a lot better from your frontman in those moments.
47:51Kieran Bowie during the week for Hibbs was absolutely outstanding in exactly that role where everything that came into him,
48:01one-two touch, found his man, held off defenders, linked the game.
48:06Kusama, that's a good ball and a good run from Geoff D.
48:09Rockwell, he kept the volley down, but Dundee got the block in.
48:18A late chance in the final second of the half, but still Rangers unable to trouble, let alone find a way past John McCracken, who's been rather quiet.
48:21The best opportunities, you have to say, have come up the other end.
48:37And Clark Robertson clipped the post for Dundee as he looked to open the scoring.
48:42But it is a stalemate at half-time at Ibrox Stadium.
48:46It's Rangers nil, Dundee nil.
