00:00Okay, I'm just going to say it. The Chosen is one of the most impactful shows I've ever watched.
00:05However, it's not just that. It's also made me low-key obsessed with the cast,
00:09and I know that I'm not the only one who's going crazy about all these people.
00:13Like, yeah, I'm watching the show for the faith, the storytelling, the emotional depth,
00:18but also, I can't lie, part of me wants to know who these incredible people are off-screen,
00:24especially when it comes to their love lives. Because let's be real, the chemistry on screen
00:28is incredible. And yes, I admit it, I would love to see some of these cast members as couples in real
00:34life. And perhaps, some of them really are. Let's take a look together, shall we? Naturally, we should
00:40start with the one everyone is curious about, Jonathan Rumi, or as we refer to him in the fandom,
00:45our Jesus. You probably already know how devoted he is in his spiritual life. He lives and breathes
00:51his Catholic faith, and you can feel that same devotion in his portrayal of Jesus. But that made
00:56me even more curious. Is there someone special in his life who shares that walk of faith with him?
01:01As it turns out, he's 50 and completely single, and by choice. In one of his recent interviews,
01:08he said, I've surrendered that part of my life to God. If marriage is in his plan, it'll happen when
01:13the time is right. I don't know about you, but I actually find that so admirable. It's not about
01:18loneliness or lack of options. It's about trust in God's plan for him. Leave me a cross emoji if you
01:24also wish the strength Jonathan has for yourself. Now, what shocked me was how much Jonathan has
01:29in common with Shahar Isaac, aka Simon Peter. If you're thinking we'd know something about his
01:35love life by now, think again. In fact, he's literally a mystery. I mean, I went full internet
01:40detective mode, and you know how through I can be with my research. And yet, in the end, I came up
01:46with nothing. No tagged photos, no tabloid rumors, no mystery woman sightings. There is literally
01:52nothing that would link him to any woman. And I don't know about you guys, but weirdly
01:57enough, that makes me even more intrigued. Because let's be honest, when you see him
02:02and Eden together on screen, the chemistry is intense, to say the least. Thus, I know
02:07a lot of you are secretly hoping something's going on between them in real life. And yeah,
02:12I don't blame you. They are that good in portraying their parts. That being said, both
02:17actors have been super clear that it's all just really great acting. Still, one can't
02:22help but hope, right? Now, let's move on to Elizabeth Tabish, who plays Mary Magdalene,
02:28and I don't know about you guys, but she is one of the best onscreen adaptations of Mary
02:32Magdalene of all time. I mean, is it just me, or does everything about her just feel poetic?
02:38I feel like one of the reasons behind this impressive performance is that she has a very artistically
02:43fulfilling life. Offscreen, she's into writing, art, nature, and yes, she's also married.
02:50Finally, someone we know for sure is in love in real life. She tied the knot back in 2022,
02:56and she shared a bunch of stunning, dreamy photos from the ceremony. She didn't tag her
03:00husband, but she did write,
03:02Being with someone who truly understands your soul. It's a gift I don't take for granted.
03:08Like, tell me that didn't melt you a little. I love that she's living her own quiet, romantic
03:13story outside of the spotlight. Speaking of Matthew, I don't know who your favorite from the cast is,
03:18but I have to confess that Paris Patel has completely stolen my heart. His performance is so full of
03:24nuance and vulnerability that it's impossible not to connect with him. And based on what we know so far,
03:29offscreen, he's just as thoughtful. He's single and very introspective about the whole idea of love
03:36and connection. He once said,
03:38This role really pushed me to think about vulnerability and connection, even made me
03:43reflect on my own relationships, or the lack thereof. It's like he's giving himself the space
03:48to grow before diving into romance, and I deeply respect that. And I have to mention that his chemistry
03:55with Mary in the show is unmatched. I know it's not confirmed in any way, but in my heart,
04:00I definitely ship the two. And then there's Andrew, who is Simon's sensitive brother,
04:06played by Noah James. On the show, he's always trying to hold things together, but in real life,
04:12he's got someone to hold him. Noah is married, and from what he shared, it sounds like a beautiful,
04:18very strong and romantic partnership. He doesn't overshare, but every once in a while, he posts a
04:23sweet photo or mentions how supportive his wife is. In one interview, he said,
04:28Having someone who supports this crazy journey, long filming hours, emotional roles, is something
04:34I'm incredibly grateful for. Their wedding even got some magazine features for its aesthetic.
04:39And based on what I've seen on his social media, they love enjoying life together as they often
04:44share snippets from concerts and festivals they attended. Now, I don't know about you,
04:49but I have a major soft spot for John, who is played by George H. Xanthus. I don't know why,
04:54but he feels so reliable and safe to me. And I think it might have to do with George in real life.
05:00We know that he's been in a long-term relationship, and from what we have seen so far,
05:04he seems deeply committed. He's from Australia, and while he keeps things private, there are little
05:10glimpses that make it clear that he and his partner are rock solid. I mean, sometimes a travel photo here,
05:15a livestream moment there is all we need to see love in its full form. He's also a creative powerhouse.
05:21He does theater, voice work, storytelling, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I get the sense
05:27that their relationship is built around shared creative energy. His character doesn't have a
05:31love storyline on the show, but maybe that's what makes him stand out. All his devotion is
05:36channeled into his faith, and honestly, I love that. Then we have little James, played by Jordan
05:42Walker-Ross. His real-life story is one of the most powerful in the cast. Jordan lives with cerebral
05:48palsy and scoliosis, just like his character, and his journey of self-acceptance is beyond inspiring.
05:54And he's not just walking this path alone. He's married to Laura, and they have two children
05:59together. He once shared,
06:01My wife has been my rock, especially during the moments I doubted myself in this industry.
06:07I mean, how can your heart not be moved by that, right? His vulnerability, both on and off the screen,
06:13is one of the most beautiful parts of the show's entire storyline, in my opinion.
06:17But let me know what you think about it.
