00:24It's quite evident that international pressure, short of Donald Trump

00:28joining the condemnation of what Israel is doing in Gaza

00:33is not going to deviate or change the way Benjamin Netanyahu is carrying out his plan for Gaza.

00:42I think what we're seeing now is a major flashpoint in internal Israeli politics.

00:48And that is his biggest fear.

00:51Because remember that this is the sort of underreported story

00:54of what's been going on in Israel since the war in Gaza began

00:59is that Netanyahu is under tremendous domestic political pressure.

01:03He has a corruption campaign hanging over him.

01:06He has, there are hostage families that do not approve of his strategic policy

01:13towards Gaza, towards Hamas.

01:15He's in trouble domestically.

01:18And I think that this full occupation of Gaza,

01:21which is a radical move in many ways,

01:24but in many ways it's a sort of inevitable consequence

01:27of what Israel has been doing so far.

01:30But it's prompting this backlash,

01:32this internal backlash among military figures,

01:35among political figures.

01:37And that is a big concern for Netanyahu right now.
