00:00Let's start with Iran because we've been following developments there all week and we were just discussing the situation in
00:05Iran with some of our guests.
00:07It's been reported that President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu held these closed-door talks on Wednesday, talks that lasted
00:15nearly three hours.
00:17Iran very much the focus of those discussions.
00:22Angie, let me start by asking you, what do you think Prime Minister Netanyahu was trying to obtain from President
00:29Trump?
00:30And do you think he left a bit empty-handed?
00:32A little bit. It seems that way.
00:33And the press has been trying to read the tea leaves since that meeting took place.
00:38It was a short press conference, but really nothing came of it.
00:41Benjamin Netanyahu came to the White House to ensure that his list, his wish list, was met when President Trump
00:49goes into talks with Iran.
00:52He had wanted certain things like their missile program to be limited.
00:58He had wanted their nuclear facility program to be eliminated.
01:02All these things were big, big wish lists.
01:04Not sure President Trump was biting.
01:06And that's a sense the press here in the U.S. has gotten since those talks have began.
01:11But what has happened is that President Trump has ordered the Pentagon to ready a second deployment of a second
01:18carrier going into the region.
01:20So I think all of this is now pressuring Iran to really come to talks, serious talks, with the United
01:27States.
01:28President Trump has a lot of options right now.
01:31But ultimately, we can tell that he does not want to have a long-term military presence in the region,
01:38certainly not to fulfill the operations that needs to happen on the ground in Iran.
01:43He wants allies to come in with him.
01:46And I believe Israel would be the greatest ally here.
01:49So in order to achieve these goals, the talks will remain.
01:52I think that diplomacy is still on the table.
01:54But just in case it's not, he's likely to send a second aircraft carrier into the Middle East.
02:01I don't think auld.
02:03But in public, it's still on the right side.
02:03It's still on the right on, but in the middle of it.
02:03See you.
02:03The thing is on the rightITCH eerste on the right.
02:05So this is on the private side of England.
