Fire in southern France burns 4,000 hectares, injures two

An intense fire burns through 4,000 hectares in southern France, destroying houses and leaving two people injured, one critically, according to local authorities. The fire raged in the Corbieres hills in the Aude department, inland from the Mediterranean, near the Spanish border, forcing the evacuation of campsites and homes in nearby villages.
