00:38Okay, to start off, can you tell us what we can expect from Halal Expo Philippines 2025 and what's new or different this year?
00:47Well, this year we're going on a full strength.
00:52We're trying to bring in new ideas in terms of exhibitors, in terms of conference program.
00:58In terms of ideas, there's so much we are bringing in.
01:03We are working since we finished the show last year.
01:10We never stopped.
01:11I mean, we closed the show, we started planning for the next one.
01:13But of course, the success of the first Dibu event give us a lot of motivation to go even higher.
01:22We reach out to more international and more ideas that we're bringing on the table.
01:27Nice.
01:27So you've been doing this for year by year.
01:30But can you share the vision behind the Halal Expo Philippines?
01:36Well, the vision started because of the initial initiative of the government and your president, Mr. Parker,
01:43who wanted to transfer Philippines to become a Halal-friendly country.
01:50So in terms of products, in terms of tourism, in terms of so many things.
01:55So when we approached the DTI, the Department of Trade, Mr. Aleem and his team,
02:01and at that time was Secretary Pasquale, and now we're working with Secretary Raku.
02:08So it was very interesting that they are already starting the initiative.
02:13So it was the right time, the right place.
02:15We see the demand.
02:18And without the platform, that could not really move faster
02:22because the platform gives the opportunity for all the companies to meet in one place
02:26and gives them the opportunity to grow the Halal industry
02:31and the products and elevate the standards through so many ideas.
02:34So that's where the trade show plays a big role.
02:37And it's our vision to grow the Halal industry in the Philippines in and out,
02:41not only for the locals, but also for the outbound, for the export as well.
02:45Well, sir, is the Philippines a major Halal hub now in Asia-Pacific?
02:50We are, that's the vision of 2028, mandated by the government of the Philippines.
02:56And it looks very positive.
02:59The Philippines has participated in many Halal events and conferences globally.
03:03Even with Canada, they came to Canada to our Halal Expo.
03:07So I see it happening, but not yet there.
03:09Not like Malaysia or Thailand, but they're almost there.
03:13They're getting to that point.
03:14There are lots of Halal products here, and Halal tourism is moving fast.
03:18There are a lot of places where you can have Halal tourism.
03:23So yes, I definitely see it happening, but not to that extent yet.
03:28But it's aiming to that target.
03:30Audrey, it's nice to hear that they are collaborating or coordinating with the international community.
03:37So this event, Kaseb, brings together stakeholders from different sectors.
03:41So can you walk us through the key sectors and innovation behind showcase this year?
03:46Well, as I mentioned before in the last year, Halal, it's an ecosystem.
03:53It's a complete lifestyle, not just for food.
03:57So there are products like we are looking to bring in, like cosmetics, vitamins, food, even logistics.
04:05Even anything that goes into producing or offering the Halal products and services.
04:11Even IT, sometimes we have IT companies that service the Halal industry.
04:15So there's so many things, tourism, modern fashion, so many things that goes around that Halal ecosystem.
04:23So there are definitely going to be a lot of products, a lot of services offered.
04:28And we're also talking about bringing Halal hotels that will come into the picture.
04:35So finally, for business and individuals watching who wants to get involved, how can they participate in or benefit from Halal Expo 2025?
04:43Well, especially if they're a startup or even small-medium enterprises, and they want to grow into that space, this is the best opportunity for them.
04:54Because we're bringing everybody together.
04:56We're bringing the buyers, the wholesalers, like, you know, the top store markets and the distributors.
05:04We're bringing them together in one place so they can meet the manufacturers.
05:07Whether you're a small manufacturer, medium manufacturer, or big manufacturer, it is a good opportunity for you to benefit from and take advantage of.
