00:04individual's identity through artificial intelligence. The Senate President filed
00:09Senate Bill No. 782, or the Physical Identity Protection Act, which aims to punish the
00:14government officials found guilty of misusing AI. According to this bill, any person who
00:20creates, generates, publishes, or distributes media content which uses an individual's
00:25physical appearance without their consent will be liable for their actions. They
00:30will face imprisonment or a fine depending on the case. And if the offender is a
00:35public official, he or she will be disqualified from holding public office.
