00:00I'm going to start with the Dallas Cowboys. No success on the field in championships in the mid
00:041990s. The salary cap implication of the 1990s really shattered the Dallas Cowboys where they
00:09used to go out, Kevin, and just pay everybody. You can't do that now. So you have to operate
00:13smarter. Yes, you make more money than any other team, but there are spending constraints that you
00:18must go along with in the NFL. We saw Jerry Jones based on camera saying, I can't pay these guys
00:23what they want because then we can't feel the rest of the team. Not understanding he could have
00:26paid them two years ago with a much cheaper price point and a lower salary cap and they
00:29could have used that elsewhere. Give me an update on what you're finding out or at least what you're
00:33looking at from Micah Parsons, Jerry Jones, and the Dallas Cowboys. So it is remarkable that Micah
00:41Parsons requested a trade and there is not a person alive who thinks he will be traded.
00:48We yesterday on game time, we spoke to Joseph Hoyt who covers the Cowboys for the Dallas morning news.
00:55And I even was like, I almost kind of had to keep pressing it and he was great and I appreciated
01:00it. So I was like, but if you had to pretend there was a world, he was going to be traded
01:05or is there a return? Are there teams that make sense? Has anybody even faked the effort to come
01:12up with the, here are the six teams that you trade for Micah Parsons. So this whole situation feels
01:19ridiculous. He, I no longer want to be a cowboy, but he shows up in a Cowboys Jersey to every single
01:25practice. Like, can you at least just put the Penn state hoodie on instead or, or, or something? So
01:32it's just the contract negotiations that they're losing my interest. I feel as the day goes on,
01:41I need someone to get traded. I here's the thing. I understand that the NFL is King and they do
01:47everything right in the NBA. When you request a trade, you get traded. So either James Harden
01:54needs to take up being an NFL agent, or we need to stop putting out the term trade request in the NFL
01:59when nobody gets traded.
