00:00Hello and welcome to Manchester World. My name is Theo Houston Betts and today I'm out on the streets of Manchester talking to people about Christmas food.
00:06Now while that might seem a little bit early, it's an unfortunate fact that Christmas foods are becoming more and more expensive.
00:12So today we're asking people on the streets of Manchester if there's things that they're more likely to skip over than others,
00:17or will they even forsake the big meal itself and go for a takeaway?
00:21Let's see what people have to say.
00:23Take the meat off, it's not that important.
00:26I definitely could not skip, like Christmas dinner is my favourite dinner of the year.
00:32Best thing on the plate? Depends who's making it, doesn't it?
00:36Roasties.
00:37Yeah. Potatoes, man. Yorkshire puddings.
00:40Onion gravy.
00:41Gravy. Bro, give me a bowl of potatoes gravy and you're just going, I'm happy.
00:46Maybe Brussels sprouts, only because I don't, it's not that I don't like sprouts, I love sprouts.
00:53Erm, in terms of flavour getting me going, erm, potentially that.
00:59Eighteen days later.
01:00Alright, let's try.
01:02It's like a coffee shop.
01:03It's a coffee shop.
01:05No doubt but it's a coffee shop.
01:06Yeah, it's perfect.
01:07I don't know what you mean.
01:09I'm definitely going to hear.
01:11I've got a coffee shop.
01:13I don't likeieren.
01:15I understand what I'm going on my own.
01:17I do not know what I'm thinking about.
01:18I've got a coffee shop.
01:20I'm going to be your own.
01:22I'm just going to be your own coffee shop.
01:24I do not know how to do your own coffee shop.
01:26I do not know.
