Rep. Nancy Mace says the hate Sydney Sweeney is getting for her controversial American Eagle commercial and for being a registered Republican sums up left-wingers ... she says they can't accept anyone with different views.

00:00I'm kind of of the Bill Maher school that you cannot treat people you disagree with

00:08as an enemy.

00:09So I would think Republicans are licking their chops over what a lot of people perceive as

00:17intolerance by people on the left.

00:19I mean, that's kind of a softball thing.

00:21It's the way I see it.

00:22I'm assuming it's the way you see it.

00:23Well, yeah, there's a lot of intolerance from the left.

00:26And we see that if you're a conservative woman, a Republican woman, the way that they go

00:30after you, look at the way they're going after Sidney Sweeney.

00:32And by the way, I think Republican women are the most beautiful women, and she looks great

00:37in those jeans.

00:38Do you think that this becomes, and I know this is not necessarily your realm and maybe

00:43more ours, but when I saw this reaction is, is Hollywood going to now, is there going to

00:49be a backlash for her and that there'll be fewer roles or something like that?

00:54Well, I hope, I hope not.

00:56I mean, I would think that regardless of politics, Republican or Democrat, if you're a woman,

01:00that you can be successful in this country.

01:02But what I have seen as a Republican woman, as a conservative woman, I've taken some controversial

01:07positions is the way that we are often treated by the left.

01:12I mean, I just want men in skirts, not in my bathroom.

01:16And you'd think that the world was ending the bound of death threats that I get every single

01:20day, a dozen a day from people that disagree with me.

01:23And I think it's the reason why you're seeing the support for Democrats and the Democrat

01:27Party really plummet.

01:29I mean, it's less than 20 percent today, significantly lower than it was even a year ago.

01:34I've used some, you know, sharp words with people, especially in oversight hearings in

01:38Congress.

01:39But when you double down on this lack of common sense, I mean, there was nothing wrong with

01:44the ad.

01:44There's nothing wrong with the jeans.

01:45There's nothing wrong with Sidney Sweeney.

01:47And you just attack her for no good reason or attack a policy for no good reason.

01:52You know, that's why their ratings, Democrat ratings are plummeting.
