00:00Well, what's next for the NFL?

00:01You got a pretty good class coming up here of the first time guys that are on that ballot

00:06with a chance to go to the Hall of Fame.

00:07Drew Brees, Phillip Rivers, Larry Fitzgerald, Jason Witten, Frank Gore, and Julian Edelman.

00:12Now, I saw this list when it got put out, and immediately I said to myself,

00:17well, no doubt in my mind, Joe, Drew Brees is going to get in and also Larry Fitzgerald.

00:22There's no argument.

00:24They're first ballot Hall of Famers.

00:25I don't like Drew Brees, but I got to respect those numbers that he put up,

00:28Super Bowl champion, he's in.

00:30But I had to do some work, like just going back over some of the stats on some of these players.

00:35There's a few also on here that I don't know how you can argue against,

00:38like Frank Gore, third all-time in rushing yards.

00:42Jason Witten, second all-time in receiving yards for a tight end.

00:45This is a great class, and Phillip Rivers, who threw for a ton of yards

00:49and a ton of touchdowns here.

00:51We might get a lot of guys in here.

00:54This could be a huge class, except for Julian Edelman.

00:56Like, why is he even on the list at this point?

00:58Like, stop that.

00:59Like, just erase his name there.

01:01He's not even in the conversation with the guys that are on that list with him,

01:05including Larry Fitzgerald, where what if he actually would have played on a team

01:10that was, you know, run with, you know, a quality organization, quality ownership,

01:15right, on down.

01:16What he could have been in the right spot there, but still managed to be the best,

01:22one of the best that ever played the game, and he did it the right way.

01:25But, I mean, Gore was just, if nothing else, I mean, there should be a patch for longevity

01:31for playing as many years in that position as he did to rack up that many yards.

01:37I mean, how do you not, how do not all of these guys are going to be in the Hall of Fame?

01:42I guess the question is, are they first ballot?

01:44These are first-time eligible guys.

01:46Did they all get in?
