00:00Leaders aligned with Perikatan Nationals say they are open to exploring cooperation with MIC,
00:05following the Indian Party's statement that it is prepared to engage in discussions with any political group to ensure its survival.
00:13MIC President SA Vigneswaran announced on Saturday that the party was open to talks with other parties,
00:19acknowledging that MIC was in a weakened position and must take reasonable steps to rebuild.
00:24Balachandran G. Krishnan, Information Chief of PAS's non-Muslim supporters wing,
00:29reminded MIC that collaboration with PN was nothing new,
00:32noting that MIC was previously part of the governments led by Muhyiddin Yassin and Ismail Sabriyakob.
00:38However, Balachandran emphasized that MIC must first understand the policies of PAS and other PN components to avoid misunderstandings.
00:46Meanwhile, Bersatu Associate Wing Vice Chief R.C. Sanjeevan also highlighted the potential for collaboration between MIC
00:53his group, DHPP, and Garakkan.
00:57Sanjeevan also acknowledged MIC's grassroots strength and long-standing presence in Malaysian politics,
01:03saying support from the Indian community appeared to be recovering.
