Jet Set Radio (originally released in North America as Jet Grind Radio) is a 2000 action game developed by Smilebit and published by Sega for the Dreamcast. The player controls a member of a youth gang, the GGs, as they use inline skates to traverse Tokyo, spraying graffiti, challenging rival gangs, and evading authorities.
Sega re-released the game in Japan under the name De La Jet Set Radio. This version was released on October 18, 2001, in Japan via Dreamcast Direct (later renamed Sega Direct) and features content that was originally exclusive to PAL and North American versions, namely music, two playable characters, and two stages.
While the Benten Boogie (Noise Tank) level is hard, the Monster of Kogane is easy. The only problem is...you don't have much time compared to the Benten Boogie, 600 minutes compared to Benten Boogie's 800 minutes to complete the Graffiti Tag mission. Regardless, you can achieve Jet if you opt for character with highest Graffiti stat such as Gum, Yo-Yo, and Goji (Except that Goji is the easiest to have his large health drastically drained compared to Yo-Yo or Gum so he is a ticking time bomb) but I'm going over the defensive stance in this level after seeing that helicopter shooting missile at me. We're not only dealing with Onishima, but we also need to keep an eye on the police car that will always try to hit you while you're in the middle of tagging, some dobberman dogs standing guard in two areas of the street that will charge and latch onto you on sight, and lastly....helicopter shooting pair of missiles on you. Watch out for the last one though as weaker character will die quickly from these missiles if you can't dodge them as soon as they start homing on you when launched. If you finished this level first before Benten Boogie, Pots will be kidnapped by the Noise Tank with Beat giving nonchalant shrug with that amused smirk on his face (Some owner you are, pal XD).
Oh and DJ Professsor K announce the news in a rather hilarious way with that one soulful howl at the end. I didn't know you had it in you, K! Also, I think I broke the game's AI somewhat. Look at Onishima stuck on wall as he was running and spinning around and the same goes for the dobberman hounds behind the wall for Xtra Large Graffiti tag after I outrun them.
