00:00The New York Giants, their schedule nor their offensive line is attractive to me.
00:04But you have Tyrone Tracy, who fumbled the ball five times last year
00:08and had a few eye-popping drops.
00:10He's RB30, ADP82.
00:12We have Cam Scadaboo, RB35, ADP100.
00:16And, Joe, you have this great scenario.
00:18Week three or four, something's going to happen in Giants Stadium
00:21that's going to turn the league on its ear.
00:22What's up?
00:23Well, look, it might even be week one where, again,
00:26Cam Scadaboo just trucks some linebacker and stands over him
00:29and the crowd goes bananas.
00:31And the crowd begins to scadaboo all over MetLife.
00:35And, look, he's a very intense guy.
00:37And that's also to his detriment sometimes.
00:39He's dealing with a hamstring issue right now, which isn't great.
00:41And they had a little bit of a setback, quote-unquote, with it.
00:44And he was throwing his helmet.
00:45Why?
00:45Because he probably came back too soon from that injury.
00:48So that is also something to keep in mind.
00:50You've seen this ADP gap between the two of them,
00:53though, close significantly over from July 1st to August 1st.
00:57And that's because of people like me talking up Scadaboo.
01:00And, look, if you watch him play in college, is he the fastest guy in the field?
01:03No.
01:04Does he have more will than anyone else on the field?
01:06Yes.
01:06How that translates to the NFL, I'm going to be fascinated to watch,
01:10but I'm here for it.
01:11And if I'm going to take one of these guys, again, Scadaboo,
01:13I think, is way more apt to be the goal linebacker,
01:16especially with the fumble issues that you mentioned that Tyrone Tracy has.
01:19So, therefore, give me the guy who's got that dog in him,
01:24the guy that's got that goal lineback in him,
01:26and he can also catch the football pretty well, too.
01:29So he's not a guy that can't do that.
01:31He is going to be better at blocking, more physical than Tyrone Tracy.
01:34So I think Scadaboo, even if it's not right away,
01:37over time becomes the back that you want in this offense.
01:39So I'm willing to just wait another round or even just invert that ADP.
01:43You know, like if you're looking around there and both these guys are on the board,
01:46I would just flat out in the same round take Scadaboo
01:48because I think projectability long-term this season is better for him
01:51than it is for Tracy.
01:53Love it, love it, love it.
01:54Let's move on here.
01:55We'll go to the Minnesota Vikings.
01:57J.J. McCarthy should be under center, keeping that in mind.
02:00Aaron Jones is RB26, has an ADP of 66.
02:04And Jordan Mason, RB38, ADP of 101.
02:09What do we say to Jordan Mason?
02:10He's not in San Francisco anymore.
02:12He's not, but I think he might get a lot more work
02:15than people realize.
02:16And this is one of my favorite running backs to draft later.
02:19But unfortunately, it looks like I'm not going to get my wish
02:21and get him as late as I want
02:22because the recent news is he's working again more
02:25as a 1A, 1B situation here with Aaron Jones.
02:29Now, that's great for Jordan Mason,
02:32but it's also starting to raise his ADP and lower Aaron Jones.
02:36At this current divide, I would take Jordan Mason
02:38just because he's cheaper and he's younger
02:40and he has less tread on the tires.
02:42And I think there was a reason they went out and acquired him.
02:43Aaron Jones had a good season last year.
02:45Aaron Jones isn't going to disappear.
02:47The only thing that can really change his backfield is injury.
02:49But again, Aaron Jones, you know,
02:50when you start to hit that 30, 31 years old,
02:52those guys, even though they're productive,
02:54they start to tail off.
02:55And I think Mason showed you last year,
02:57he can handle a significant workload.
02:58And I love that offense.
03:00Rookie QB, they're going to run the ball
03:02a lot more than you think this year in Minnesota.
03:05All right, food for thought.
03:07Now let's stretch our legs here
03:08because we have the Jacksonville Jaguars
03:10in a very crowded situation of an RB 33 ADP of 89
03:15for Travis Etienne, RB 43, an ADP of 128 for Tank Bigsby,
03:20an RB 46 and an ADP of 136 for Bashul Tootin.
03:24So Joe, my question to you is,
03:26why are Tootin and Bigsby so close?
03:29Well, they're so close because nobody really understands
03:32what's going to happen in this backfield.
03:33Now, Travis Etienne is, look, to be honest,
03:36Etienne is the home run swing here
03:37because he's only a year removed
03:39from being a top five fantasy running back.
03:41So if you want to really swing the fences
03:42with a Liam Cohn offense, it's Travis Etienne.
03:45He's also on the last year of his deal,
03:47which means he can be very well,
03:48like let's run him into the ground
03:49and then let him walk away.
03:51That's very possible.
03:52Bigsby is still useful.
03:53Bashul Tootin is really speedy and fun,
03:55but he is a rookie.
03:56So if I'm going to put my money somewhere,
03:58it's going to be on Etienne for that upside again,
04:00last year, the contract, just for perspective,
04:02last, the draft that I did yesterday,
04:04he went in round 11 to me, I took Etienne,
04:08and then two picks later, Tank Bigsby went.
04:11So it might be a lot closer
04:12than some of this ADP is suggesting
04:14of where guys are.
04:15We'll see in preseason,
04:16perhaps we'll get a little bit more clarity
04:19in this backfield as the usage shows up in games.
