00:00All right, now let's move on.
00:01We have a tight end question, and you mentioned monitoring guys in practice,
00:04especially on Thursdays and Fridays.
00:06Both these tight ends were questionable throughout the week,
00:08so you'll give us whatever information you have.
00:10Is it Dalton Schultz for Houston versus San Francisco?
00:13Again, tough matchup there.
00:14Or is it Mason Taylor for the Jets?
00:15You mentioned Justin Fields will be in, and they're at Cincinnati,
00:19which is a soft defense.
00:20So which way would you go?
00:22Well, I mean, we saw every tight end in the world score two Thursdays ago,
00:26didn't we, against the Cincinnati Bengals?
00:28I mean, they are the worst team in the NFL against the tight end.
00:31The problem is the Jets are just the worst team in the NFL.
00:34So how do you start Mason Taylor?
00:37I mean, I kid, but I don't.
00:41So this is the problem here.
00:42We are in the scenario where Mason Taylor should be the start on paper.
00:47There's no way you should.
00:48And I'm not saying you can't start Mason Taylor this week,
00:50but I'm saying if I have a choice between Dalton Schultz,
00:52who saw a huge uptick in his workload when those wide receivers went down last week,
00:56I think that trend will continue.
00:58For sure.
00:58Kyle Pitts had a good game last week against those 49ers, too.
01:01Let's not forget.
01:02And they're struggling.
01:03No Fred Warner as that linebacker anymore.
01:06All of a sudden, that's not quite the same defense in the middle of the field for the 49ers.
01:09So I'm very confident in Dalton Schultz.
01:12And I'm not the only one, too.
01:13The consensus ranking is tight end eight on Fantasy Pros this week for Dalton Schultz.
01:17That's very high.
01:18Mason Taylor at 12.
01:19So both guys are startable.
01:20But they started out this week very close together.
01:23And Justin Fields, unfortunately, just, you know, has not inspired a lot of confidence.
01:27And the fact that Garrett Wilson is out.
01:29Look, you think that if you're the Cincinnati Bengals, look, just don't screw this up here.
01:32You're giving everything on a platter here.
01:35No Garrett Wilson.
01:36You're getting Justin Fields has been terrible.
01:37The Jets are coming apart at the seams.
01:39I'll play Dalton Schultz.
01:41Mason Taylor, again, it's good process to play him.
01:43I just don't know if you're going to get the productivity, unfortunately.
01:47All right.
01:48This one here may seem like a slam dunk, but I want to hear from you.
01:51And it's a quarterback start-sit question.
01:53The first one is Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers.
01:56Great matchup here at Pittsburgh.
01:58This one on paper should be a dogfight.
02:00Or Jackson Dart for the Giants at Philadelphia.
02:03I mean, that's tough even if they were playing in a vacuum.
02:05But then, Joe, you know it firsthand.
02:07Put him outdoors.
02:08Put him in Philadelphia.
02:10Man.
02:11Eileen Love here, but I want to hear from you.
02:13I think Love is the safer play.
02:16I mean, it's a tough matchup.
02:17You're going on the road to Pittsburgh.
02:18Two weeks on the road to last week, they went to the Cardinals.
02:21Which, by the way, if you remember on this show,
02:23I told everybody about the sitting on the tarmac for seven hours,
02:28whatever it was.
02:29And maybe you should take the seven that you got with the Arizona Cardinals.
02:34And if you did, you done good.
02:36You done well last week.
02:38The Cardinals didn't even win that game outright for quite a while.
02:41Eventually, Green Bay kind of woke up and figured it out.
02:43But I think Jordan Love is the safer start for sure.
02:46Jackson Dart is startable this week.
02:48And I just want to point out, too, against the Philadelphia Eagles,
02:50last time we saw him, he was QB3.
02:5417 for 195 and a touchdown.
02:56But he also had 58 rushing yards.
02:58So, really, the value comes from Jackson Dart's legs.
03:01You didn't see that last week.
03:02But he still finished as QB3 last week as well.
03:05He threw for 283 with three touchdowns.
03:08I'm very confident in Jackson Dart on the road this week if you have to start him.
03:10So, I want to give people warm and fuzzy feelings now that Jackson Dart,
03:13oh, my God, I can't start this guy against the Eagles.
03:16Look, the more tape they get on guys, the more they're going to find weaknesses.
03:19And that's going to eventually catch up to Jackson Dart.
03:21But I do think that, you know, what you've seen so far is a guy that can't be intimidated.
03:26The vibes there, as the kids like to say, for the New York Giants right now between Scadaboo and Dart are there.
03:31They're really fun.
03:32It makes you wonder if they had Malik Neighbors, what this team might look like.
03:36But that rushing equity for Dart is great.
03:38I do think Jordan Love is the safer start.
03:40I don't love the wide receiver group.
03:42It's hard to love it.
03:43Christian Watson is going to be returning for him.
03:45We'll see what that does.
03:46But I'm starting Love.
03:49I need the real upside or if I'm in a bad spot, Jackson Dart is still startable against the Philadelphia Eagles,
03:54even though it's going to be a tough environment.
03:55I was at a party last evening around that area, and I can tell you they are very excited for the New York Giants
04:02and a possible revenge game here for the Eagles after that tough loss on Thursday a couple weeks ago.
04:06Ew, you like to socialize?
04:09That's gross.
04:11Okay, here we go.
04:11We have two wide receivers that are ranked right next to each other.
04:15I'm just kidding.
04:16Joey's a blast at parties, as you'd imagine.
04:18Sterling Shepard for the Buccaneers.
04:20You need to bounce back there at New Orleans.
04:22He's wide receiver 44.
04:23Or Josh Downs for Indianapolis versus Tennessee.
04:26He's wide receiver 45.
04:27Whom should I start and why?
04:28Take us to the break.
04:29Yeah, look, I think with the Mike Evans injury again, he's going to be out for the year basically now.
04:35I understand the people who want to start Shepard, but I would start Downs over him.
04:39A great matchup against Tennessee.
04:40I love the team total for the Indianapolis Colts this week, too.
04:45They've just been terrific.
04:46And last week we talked about that game, too, and I said the line was flat out wrong.
04:50And I was flat out right about that one, too.
04:52I got to tell you, like the Colts are a good football team.
04:55Jonathan Taylor last week.
04:56Remember we gave you two touchdowns for Jonathan Taylor?
04:57He scored three to one.
04:59He scored three.
04:59And this week, that number is plus 190 for two touchdowns.
05:03That's how good the Colts have been.
05:04I think Downs will benefit.
05:05He is healthy, and I think it's a great matchup, so I want to start him.
