00:00As the DC Multiverse comes to a close, Todd sends somebody that has experience ending it.
00:06Here's a look at McFarlane Toys, McFarlane Toys Digital DC Countdown Monarch.
00:10Nate Atom becomes the new incarnation of his main adversary, Monarch.
00:31He recruits an army at a battle of monitors, but is successfully opposed by the team of alternate Captain Atoms.
00:37To be considered one of the most powerful beings in the DC Universe,
00:40the fact that even Superman's punches don't even faze him.
00:43Yeah, Monarch did deserve to have a figure.
00:45And before, of course, we look at the figure of Monarch, let's take the tape measure, shall we, and see how tall the figure stands.
00:49I actually found this on the Facebook selling group from, you guessed it, Popeye the Toyman.
00:53If you'd like to check out the wares that he has right now, you can click the link down below in the video description.
00:57Back, though, to Monarch, the figure's going to stand at 7 inches in height, or roughly about 18 centimeters tall.
01:04As for a couple of other characters that have invested interest in destroying worlds,
01:07here's what Monarch looks like with the mega-sized superpowers dark side.
01:12I say superpowers because this was the one that had the cape.
01:14There is also another dark side that was more cel-shaded that didn't have the cape, if you want to go that route.
01:18I do hope, though, before the line runs out, we do get ourselves a non-caped dark side.
01:23Come on, McFarlane, you've already got the mold for him.
01:25Here's also what the figure looks like on the other side, the anti-monitor.
01:29So I think you can see he's in pretty good company.
01:31Nathaniel Adam.
01:32Hmm, that name sounds familiar.
01:34It does probably sound familiar, too, because prior to being Monarch, he was known as Captain Adam.
01:39Not really having accessories is already a strike against Monarch.
01:42The figure really only comes in clear with the display stand and then two cards on either side of him.
01:46We're going to start probably with the one that you're not likely to keep.
01:48The figure does also come in clear with the McFarlane Toys digital card or redemption code card that all is required on your part is to go to www.mtd.gg.
01:57You got that in there?
01:58It's actually right here.
02:00All you have to really do, though, is go to the site, go to the McFarlane app or for your Mac or your PC, scratch the above, which I'm about to do, to reveal your one-time use code.
02:09Create your account and log in, then click on Redeem Code in the top left corner.
02:14So it would be right over there, yeah.
02:16And then, of course, follow the instructions in the pop-up window to redeem your code.
02:20With that being said, though, and reach off to the side here, I'm just going to grab McCutcheon's.
02:24McCutcheon's isn't going to be doing much cutting.
02:26All he's really going to be doing is scraping away this, and I know it's going to get everywhere.
02:31Scrape, scrape, scrape away I go, and revealing the code to you.
02:35Now, if you currently have your eyes closed, the code is Y-K-Q-U-U-S-U-V-G-L-T-T-W-O.
02:43So I do really hope that that's an O and not a zero.
02:47Anyways, though, that's the card.
02:48We're just going to move that off to the side.
02:50And then while we're speaking of cards, of course, Monarch does come included with a card.
02:54The card has some pretty good illustration of the character on the front.
02:57Though I would probably have said, though, that's a lot of unused area right above his head.
03:01Could they not have maybe made the head a little bit higher, just kind of moved the body, moved it up just a little bit, or just increased the size of the image?
03:09I know that would have cut off the sides of his arms, but I don't know.
03:12That just seems like a lot of real estate space that somebody could easily have used for something else.
03:15Maybe somebody may want to rent out the property here, make a tiny little shed, something that Bob Ross would have done in his paintings.
03:22And, of course, you want to make sure that you make yourself a path leading up to the brick, a little wooden cottage cabin.
03:28Anyways, though, on the back of that, a much closer and clearer image to see of his face.
03:32His real name already mentioned is Nathaniel Adam.
03:35I just happen to have myself my Captain Adam card from before, so just to flip it around on the back, you can see Nathaniel Adam.
03:41Although, unlike Captain Adams, that probably took me, at the time of doing the video, a much longer time to read.
03:46There's not as much to read here when it comes to Monarch.
03:50These cards, by the way, will go in the Sheet Protector.
03:51You're probably already asking yourself, well, wasn't that card already in your Sheet Protector?
03:55Clearly, by you can see the condition of this card.
03:57This one...
