00:00KONIEC
00:30Not always, cause we all know that.
00:32A lot of guys call me H.
00:33A lot of guys call me Trips.
00:36It's all about Triple H!
00:38Back 20, 30 years ago,
00:40you never talked about somebody outside of their characters.
00:44The world has changed.
00:47People that aren't fans think,
00:49like, isn't that just a bunch of guys pretending to fight?
00:54I believe that our business
00:56jest jeszcze bardziej kompleksy niż ktoś zrozumiałe.
00:59Powiedzmy, go now! Powiedzmy, go now!
01:01To jest całkowicie, co-ordinated produkcja.
01:057 dni w miesiÄ…cu, 365 dni w miesiÄ…cu.
01:09Soap operu, baby.
01:10Showbizki.
01:11...to story never ends.
01:14You guys had no idea, right?
01:15No, no.
01:16As we enter into a new era,
01:18there are a million things to figure out.
01:22We have one of the all-time greats
01:26coming back for a retirement run.
01:29We have incredible performers still in their prime.
01:33We have storylines that are years in the making.
01:39Young talent that will become
01:42that next generation of superstars.
01:44I won't put a rocket on your ass.
01:46Everybody wants a spot.
01:48But there are only so many available.
01:52Oh, my God, yeah, I fucking peed myself.
01:55That is the biggest challenge.
01:58It's like putting together a puzzle,
02:00but the pieces are always moving.
02:02Oh, God!
02:03We're gonna lift the curtain.
02:05We're gonna show you things you've never seen in this show.
02:07Oh, no, no, no!
02:08Through the ladder! He might be dead!
02:11You okay?
02:12For the first time ever,
02:14we're gonna show you
02:15how the story unfolded
02:18before your eyes.
02:20I was so scared not to come back.
02:22It's good enough for the fans.
02:24All fucking losing it right now.
02:25You've always been a main event guy.
02:27I don't get here without you. Thank you.
02:29This is absolute insanity!
02:31I need your soul.
02:35Ready? Here it is.
02:37Two. Give him two cameras. Two cameras.
02:39Just get started, man.
03:01Hey!
03:03Yay!
03:05Mama!
03:06Hey, how are you?
03:08Good.
03:09Do you want to do some Christmas stuff today?
03:10Do you want to put ornaments on the tree?
03:12Yeah!
03:13Oh, okay.
03:14Do you want to put this...
03:15You want to put this guy?
03:16Shawn Michaels.
03:17Gingerbread Shawn Michaels.
03:18He was my favorite wrestler.
03:20All right, so we're...
03:21He looked just like that, too.
03:22Like gingerbread.
03:23Yeah.
03:24He was made of gingerbread.
03:25That was...
03:26They used to call it sweet chin music
03:27because of the gingerbread.
03:29My name is Cody Runnels,
03:32and my wrestling name and what I go by
03:35and pretty much have gone by my whole life
03:37is Cody Rhodes.
03:39Libby thinks that Cody is a professional dancer.
03:42Because she saw entrances,
03:49which is the big music and the lighting,
03:52I think she thinks there's a component of dancing to it.
03:55And has asked me before,
03:57are you going to go dancing?
03:58Will you be dancing?
04:00And I think she's even said,
04:01when we showed her a couple of clips on YouTube,
04:03oh, this is the dancing.
04:04It's not the worst.
04:14Parallel.
04:19I'm good with that.
04:24If, when asked what Papa does for a living,
04:26I'm a dancer.
04:27For my daughter,
04:29I'd be the best staring dancer I possibly can be.
04:33My role in WWE is that I am currently
04:38the undisputed WWE Champion.
04:42The American Nightmare is here!
04:46It is a role that is kind of the hood ornament
04:50for the company.
04:52I get to be one of the most authentic,
04:55if not most authentic wrestlers of this era
04:58simply for the fact that I play myself.
05:01I am myself.
05:04Cody is the closest thing right now,
05:07I think, that we have to just a pure babyface.
05:10That spot, in my opinion,
05:14probably the most difficult spot in the business right now.
05:16Easy to be a bad guy.
05:18Tell people a bunch of convoluted shit
05:20that seems reasonable to you,
05:22and that's fun and easy.
05:25Just to be the guy that does the right thing all the time
05:27and overcomes and always succeeds,
05:30people start to feel it's predictable,
05:32people start to feel like nobody's that good.
05:35You know, it's a tough thing.
05:37I felt like such a bigger babyface tonight.
05:41Yeah.
05:43As white meat as you could be.
05:44Yeah.
05:45As fucking white meat as you could be.
05:47Be that way until we can anymore, you know?
05:50Yeah, it ain't going anywhere.
05:52Now we just gotta navigate it.
05:53That's our fucking job.
05:54Our job, me, you, fucking everybody.
05:57But we navigate this now
05:58and figure out where we need to get it.
06:00Yes, sir.
06:01All right.
06:02At some point here in a minute,
06:03I need to get a picture of you with that.
06:04Okay.
06:05One of my favorite ones ever.
06:07There's a huge difference between being a wrestler
06:12and the WWE Champion.
06:14I've seen Cody through every one of those seasons
06:18and this by far, the demand of the job is unimaginable.
06:23I'm incredibly lucky that my wife and I met in wrestling.
06:29Otherwise, she would have left.
06:31She knows what this push is.
06:33She knows what it could mean for the future.
06:36And she knows what it means right here and now.
06:40People say it all the time, the face of the company.
06:43Yeah.
06:44When people say that, my heart, like, skips a beat.
06:49Um, because I always wanted to be that.
06:52I just didn't know I could.
06:54There you go.
06:55Look.
06:56That's perfect.
06:57Yeah.
06:58So, January 6th, the premiere on Netflix, Fun Raw,
07:15is massively important for this company.
07:24Putting us on a platform that is, what,
07:27300 million homes in that ballpark globally?
07:31Good.
07:32That's a lot of people.
07:34Yeah, sure.
07:35Jan Six?
07:36Yes.
07:37Paul is our chief content officer.
07:40His experience as being a former superstar for so many years
07:46has kind of helped aid him.
07:48As a performer, he was great.
07:50Triple H with a pedigree.
07:52Triple H wins the title.
07:55He was a student of the game.
07:57Tonight, an army to take care.
07:59You know, kind of understood the bigger picture of storytelling.
08:03So now he's brought that to his role as chief content officer here.
08:08I think Cody doesn't have, like, a role in this show.
08:12Yeah.
08:13I think he's been eyeballing this show as far as, like,
08:15wanting to be a part of it.
08:16Yes, yeah.
08:17Yeah.
08:18You know, he hits me fucking every day.
08:20With Cody Rhodes, the bigger the star,
08:22the more you want to provide some scarcity of their star power
08:27to keep them as big as they are.
08:30So it's special when Cody Rhodes is there,
08:33and fans see that and feel that,
08:35and they're anticipating your return even more.
08:38So you have to know where everything is going long term
08:42and way in advance.
08:44So we tend to break it down sort of into seasons.
08:48The season will start with January 6th,
08:51the Netflix premiere.
08:53We'll do the weekly television shows at minimum twice a week.
09:00Along the way, we will do the Royal Rumble,
09:03which kicks off the road to WrestleMania.
09:05We will do Elimination Chamber,
09:06which continues that road to WrestleMania.
09:09And then we will get to WrestleMania itself,
09:11which is a two-day, basically, it's our Super Bowl.
09:15Along the way, you're building up these storylines.
09:20Obviously, the biggest storylines
09:22revolve around our biggest stars,
09:24chief among them being Cody Rhodes.
09:27But John Cena is coming back for one last year
09:30of a retirement run,
09:33arguably one of the greatest performers
09:35in the history of our business.
09:37And the return of John is a wonderful thing
09:41and a challenge at the same time.
09:43My name is John Cena.
09:45The name I use in the ring is John Cena.
09:47My government name is John Cena.
09:50Wrestling is the foundation of the house
09:52of my family relationship.
09:54I grew up in a family of five boys,
09:57and wrestling was our conduit.
09:59It was our connection system.
10:01I appreciate this as my hobby.
10:06It's the best of imagination land.
10:09Not only did I do it during my free time,
10:12but I paid to do it.
10:13That I am the future of this business.
10:17So, I would do this for free.
10:20I just physically can't do it anymore.
10:23Cody Rhodes has, in many ways,
10:26kind of inherited that mantle from John Cena.
10:29And Cody understood just how much
10:32the Netflix premiere meant for the company.
10:35And Cody, I think, just feeling as if he is,
10:37he calls himself the quarterback of the team,
10:40he wanted to be a part of it.
10:42Cody wants a save, Cena.
10:44I know.
10:45Cody wants it, like, they all square up
10:46to fucking, you know, take Cena down,
10:49and Cody runs in and fucking makes the save.
10:52Totally understood, obviously,
10:53on big shows in company history,
10:55Cody, you know, fucking franchise,
10:56probably every reason to have him on the show.
10:58I'm just like, we don't have a half a dozen heels
11:01who are just, everybody's got stories.
11:03So, it's like, we're gonna chuck Judgment Day out there.
11:05You know, it's...
11:06Yeah.
11:07Also, I get Cody's point of view,
11:09but also, like, it was the first time
11:11we see John Cena in, what?
11:15A year.
11:16But, like, the first time he comes out
11:18and, like, somebody's gotta save him.
11:20It just feels off to me, too.
11:23We can write and choreograph whatever we want back here.
11:28You have to be ready for the element you can't control,
11:31and that's the audience.
11:33If you ignore them, man, they will skewer you.
11:37But...
11:39I think whatever a performer does,
11:41they have to invest in it,
11:42and the roster's pretty deep.
11:44We got a lot of all-stars.
11:46So, right now, I have Punk and Seth,
11:49Roman and Solo,
11:51Brienne and Liv.
11:53Matches are so big,
11:54you wouldn't want to give them time.
11:56Yes.
12:07I love, like, taxidermy stuff.
12:09So, I have a two-headed duck.
12:11I have an octopus, a bat, crocodile.
12:15I have this little, like, mozzie mosquito.
12:18This is, like, a shrunken head.
12:21Like, I love creepy artwork and dark colours,
12:25and I love all of that stuff.
12:27That's why my office looks like this.
12:31Technically, my name is Demity Bennett,
12:33but I go by Rhea Ripley,
12:35and that's what everyone really knows me by.
12:38Rhea is a goddess name,
12:40and Ripley is from the chick from Aliens
12:42because she's a badass,
12:43and I just put them together.
12:44R-R.
12:45Thought it made sense.
12:47I'm from Adelaide, South Australia.
12:50I watched WWE growing up.
12:52Absolutely loved it.
12:53WWE came to Australia when I was 17 years old,
12:57and they gave me a tryout then,
12:59but I was too young.
13:01They ended up coming back when I was 20,
13:03and they had another tryout,
13:04so they invited me to that.
13:06And, yeah, I mean, the rest is pretty much history.
13:10It's weird describing Rhea Ripley for me,
13:16because I am Rhea Ripley.
13:19It's just like a ten times version of myself.
13:24She's crazy.
13:26Rhea!
13:27Riptide!
13:28Through the table!
13:30She's kind of scary,
13:31but you're kind of attracted to her at the same time.
13:33Rhea Ripley absolutely possessed!
13:36I like to say that it's the side of me
13:38that would get arrested in everyday life.
13:42She's just absolutely chaotic
13:44and sadistic and manipulative.
13:47It's all the sides of me
13:49that I don't like to show in my everyday life.
13:51I'm always, like, Demi Bennett right before,
13:54and I'm, like, freaking out,
13:55and then as soon as my music plays,
13:58I'm Rhea Ripley.
13:59This is my new job!
14:06When that music hits,
14:08it's a moment in the crowd,
14:11and it's undeniable.
14:12She has it.
14:13She can be the biggest star in this business
14:16for a long time to come.
14:18Yeah, I...
14:19Sorry, my dog is playing with this tennis ball.
14:22But this is Luna.
14:25She's my first child.
14:26Barry's my second.
14:28And then Bella is my third.
14:30Barry's always everyone's favourite.
14:32Aren't you, Baz?
14:33And you're the most annoying middle child
14:35that I have ever met.
14:38Huh?
14:39Yeah.
14:40You got bad breath, too.
14:42So the story between me, Liv, and Dom
14:44has actually been going for, like, an eternity.
14:47It feels like it...
14:50This has gone on long enough.
14:53Liv and I,
14:55we have been feuding for, like, three years.
15:00Liv Morgan!
15:02It's been a long time,
15:03because we started as a tag team.
15:05Me and Dom and I,
15:06we kind of just, like,
15:07we kind of got put into this storyline together,
15:10which I don't think was supposed to be
15:12a relationship storyline.
15:14And then Liv Morgan decided to try and steal my family,
15:18which she accomplished.
15:21Dom turned on me
15:23and helped Liv beat me for the Women's World Championship.
15:30It was a wild ride.
15:32Ah!
15:33You're dead for me!
15:36Done!
15:37Get out of my business!
15:39Before that,
15:41she ruined my entire life at work.
15:44And she's sort of...
15:46sucker attacking you and...
15:48Did you want me to sort of fight back a little bit
15:51or just take it and, like...
15:52Depends...
15:53Depends on what she's...
15:54Like, what is she throwing?
15:55Do we know?
15:59And that's where my whole year kind of changed.
16:03Liv Morgan attacking the Women's Champion!
16:06She threw me into the wall.
16:08But, like, I have a third grade AC sprain.
16:11I full-on broke character as well...
16:15In...
16:16In that scene.
16:17My collarbone and my shoulder blade got ripped apart.
16:20She had to kick me into the second wall.
16:22But my shoulder was already stuffed up,
16:24so I'm, like, holding my arm.
16:27Liv gets on me and starts punching me in the shoulder.
16:29In the bad shoulder.
16:31And I was like,
16:32Somebody please get her off me.
16:34Bruh.
16:35I felt it.
16:36As soon as I hit the wall, I was like...
16:37I grabbed it and I was like,
16:38Oh, shit.
16:39I drew myself into the wall all too.
16:40Yeah.
16:41Oh, the pump.
16:4230 degree of separation.
16:43That's what I'm gonna have.
16:44Oh, shit.
16:46I drew myself into the wall, too.
16:50Chad Gable, now!
16:57So, I had a Grade 3 AC sprain,
17:01which means that my shoulder blade
17:04and my collarbone
17:06aren't connected anymore.
17:08The only way to get them back together
17:10is through surgery, and I opted not.
17:12Like, it was either surgery, you have a scar,
17:15or no surgery, you have a massive lump in your shoulder.
17:18So, that's why I have this bad boy.
17:22So...
17:24He looks pretty gnarly sometimes.
17:27But it's just gonna be there
17:29until I decide to fix it if I do.
17:31Because I can still go back and have the surgery.
17:33I just don't want to have that extra time off
17:35because it's gonna be six months compared to three months.
17:38I know this sucks.
17:40Do not freak out.
17:42We will make this into something wonderful, okay?
17:44Sorry.
17:45Not bad.
17:46I'm sorry.
17:47I'm sorry, man.
17:49Physical business.
17:50Shit gets everybody.
17:52Nobody walks out on skis.
17:54All right.
17:56Just shut up.
17:57All right?
17:58My entire life I've done this, so I can't say it's any harder now
18:15just because I'm older.
18:16You know?
18:17It's always been tough.
18:19Suffering is relative.
18:22It's situational.
18:23So now I think the landscape is changing so much,
18:27and that excites me.
18:29So I'm looking at that as, like, this is uncharted water.
18:33I have never been more excited.
18:35My name is Punk, CM Punk, Punker, Cookie Monster, Pepsi Phil, Black Phillip.
18:45My government name is Phil.
18:47Yeah.
18:48It's a white accountant's name.
18:50I started wrestling in my friend's backyard in 1993.
18:56I started wrestling professionally in 1997.
19:01I was always drawn to punk rock because if there was a rule of punk rock,
19:06it's be yourself.
19:07I have a Hall of Fame career I could put up against anybody.
19:12Oh, my God! CM Punk is leaving with a WWE championship!
19:17But if there was one thing in the sport I have not accomplished,
19:22it's main event in WrestleMania.
19:24Initially, Hunter and I clashed because I was a main talent roster full-time
19:33the same time he was a main talent roster full-time,
19:35so there's that competition.
19:37And a lot of that generation was looking down at kids like me saying,
19:42oh, you're here to take my spot.
19:44Well, I'm not going to let you, or at least it's going to be a fight.
19:47Halfway through my career here, he becomes office,
19:51and now I'm like, fuck you, you can't tell me anything.
19:54I always felt like my job was I'm in between office and the talent.
20:00But punk would never let me assist, and he would then sometimes attack me.
20:05Like, you know, there would be moments where we'd have a meeting
20:08and he'd come at me and I'd leave there thinking like,
20:10this little motherfucker.
20:12Punk didn't trust me and I didn't trust punk.
20:17I had been on the road 365 days a year for 10 years straight.
20:22After a while, the wheels fell off.
20:27John Cena, while you lay there, I have a lot of things I want to get off my chest.
20:35And you can say that I have a big mouth and I talked a lot of shit.
20:39That doesn't mean anything I said was nothing short of 100% fact.
20:45I'm not on your lovely little collector cups.
20:48I'm not on the cover of the program.
20:50I'm barely promoted.
20:52I don't get to be in movies.
20:54But the fact that Dwayne is in the main event of WrestleMania next year
20:58and I'm not makes me sick.
21:00This was Phil Brooks talking through the mouth of CM Punk
21:06and saying all the things that you weren't supposed to say.
21:11If I didn't take myself off the hamster wheel, nobody else was gonna
21:16and they were gonna work me until I died.
21:20When I left this place in 2014, I was heartbroken.
21:24It took maybe 10 years for me to heal from a lot of things.
21:29We'd had conversations over the years for me to be able to come back here
21:34and just nothing stuck.
21:38I felt like how he communicated with others needed to change.
21:44One time when he and I met after he had left, this is years later,
21:49where there was a conversation about him coming back,
21:51I said, still the same dude, won't work.
21:54The last time that we met and talked with him,
21:57I felt like he honestly was different.
22:01It seemed almost like in the phone call we both realized,
22:04and he said, oh, he's different.
22:06No, I'm different.
22:09Let's give it a shot.
22:10It has been quite the night at the Soldown All-State Arena in Chicago.
22:15It's fair to say that me returning to WWE is the biggest return of all time.
22:36Do you want to put on a picture with me and you and blow up the internet?
22:39Uh, yeah, what do you want to do?
22:40Just say it in front of the logo.
22:42Oh, are you going to point at me?
22:44I'm going to point back at you.
22:46I don't know if it's ever been done.
22:49He clearly knows he's much closer to the end than he is the beginning.
22:54When you get to a certain age, you start thinking about,
22:56look, I'm one big injury away from, I don't want to do this anymore.
23:02Looking at myself and my career right now, I think my role on the roster is...
23:09Yeah, I feel like we need to take another picture.
23:11Yeah?
23:12Like work out and then...
23:13I'm the player coach.
23:14Can we do that?
23:15Yeah.
23:16Can you take a picture for us?
23:18I'm a huge mark for Rhea today.
23:21I love it.
23:22For Rhea?
23:23I have years of experience that a lot of people don't have.
23:28I have made more mistakes and I am happy to help them learn from them.
23:36I love you, Jacob.
23:37I love you, punk.
23:38By the way, can I get a picture with you?
23:40Yeah, 100%.
23:44Yes!
23:48On January 6th, it is not just the launch of RAW.
23:52on Netflix.
23:54It is a new launch of WWE worldwide.
23:59Ho!
24:00Ho!
24:01Ho!
24:02Ho!
24:03Ho!
24:04Ho! Ho!
24:05Ho! Ho!
24:06Ho! Ho!
24:07Main eventing WrestleMania meant that you were the number one guy in the industry.
24:12I'm looking at Netflix like, there's only one debut RAW broadcast.
24:17Let's do it.
24:18Start by putting over the match.
24:19We're going to call Seth out.
24:20He's my head.
24:21That's the thing.
24:22I'm going to have him again.
24:23It gets in your face.
24:24There.
24:25And at some point, boom.
24:26Ladies and gentlemen, CM Punk!
24:27CM Punk!
24:28CM Punk!
24:29CM Punk!
24:30CM Punk!
24:31CM Punk!
24:32CM Punk!
24:33CM Punk!
24:34CM Punk!
24:35CM Punk!
24:36CM Punk!
24:37CM Punk!
24:38CM Punk!
24:39CM Punk!
24:40CM Punk!
24:41It's on Monday Night Raw on Netflix, one of the most anticipated matches ever.
24:45You against Seth Rollins, personal animosity, disdain.
24:48Seth, right now looks and sounds like CM Punk from 2013.
24:52I know, you know, everybody else knows, this is your last chance.
24:58One of two things is going to happen.
25:01Zobaczcie siÄ™, jak zawsze siÄ™ zaznaczysz,
25:05czy jeśli, w jakimś miracem,
25:08zmieniłeś się,
25:10czy nie ma żadnych gas,
25:12w tym samym tankach,
25:14może jedno dzień,
25:15będziesz szczęśliwy,
25:16w stanie się stworzyć do mnie,
25:19a potem,
25:20ja,
25:21wytrzymujesz siÄ™
25:22za sprawÄ™,
25:23że jesteś.
25:24I think to understand you have to talk about the history between myself and Seth Rollins
25:33And it goes back quite a bit
25:35You're talking about a 16-year-old Seth Rollins came to CM Punk
25:40And asked him to train him for free
25:44Now that entitlement I think has carried over into the adult Seth Rollins
25:50Now I don't claim to do those things because I wanted to thank you
25:54I recognized that that 16-year-old kid had all the potential in the world
25:58And in my absence from this company Seth did a fantastic job of filling that vacuum
26:04But simply put the starters back
26:06Second string got to sit back down on the bench
26:09Welcome back to the house that I built when you abandoned ship
26:25I got nothing left to say
26:27Who's the bootlicker now, bitch?
26:31Come on
26:32I got nothing left to say
26:35I have a microphone
26:36I don't need a mic
26:37I don't need a microphone
26:38I don't need a mic
26:39We can do this right here, right now
26:413-1-6, beginning and the end
26:43It's my time now, baby!
26:45Ladies and gentlemen
26:49In 19 nights
26:51The series premiere
26:53Let me applaud on that play
26:55Yeah, so before we get into anything deeper than that
27:07Let's talk about guerrilla position
27:09You know, years ago
27:15When TV production started to become a thing
27:19Guerrilla Monsoon, very famous wrestler
27:24He was timing things and controlling things
27:29From the area right before talent would walk out to go to the ring
27:33That became known as guerrilla position
27:36Guerrilla position in today's world
27:40It is the epicenter of everything we do
27:43The show is run from there
27:45The guerrilla position is probably
27:50The most important position in the arena
27:54Have a great show, guys
27:55You basically control the world that night
28:00Your world
28:01The world wrestling and entertainment is controlled from the guerrilla position
28:05You know, the guerrilla position is very unique
28:11In every arena, it's custom built
28:14However, the inside and the workings of it are the same
28:18There's primarily three tables set up inside guerrilla position
28:22There's one table where Triple H and Bruce Pritchard are sitting
28:26There's another table where Billy Kidman, who is our producer
28:29Responsible for timing out the show and keeping tabs on times
28:32Next to him will sit the respective match producer
28:35As a producer, I'm basically the liaison, if you will
28:41Between the talent and the heads of creative
28:43Stay tight right here
28:45He'll convert this over
28:47Nice
28:50All of our producers are former in-ring talents
28:54So, for example, Chris Park, who was known as Abyss
28:58Another match producer is Bobby Roode
29:02Michael Hayes from the fabulous Freebirds is our longest tenured producer
29:07And Bruce Pritchard is the executive director of the creative writing team
29:12So the mechanics during the match for me and the reason I'm wearing a headset
29:17Is I'm talking to the truck
29:19Keeping them about 10 or 15 seconds ahead of what's going on in the ring
29:23So that the cameras capture the story that we're trying to tell
29:26The whole story is we want to catch Punk looking to the top of the cage for this last one
29:31Punk's eyes
29:32Yeah, there it is
29:33That is a great shot
29:35Another thing that I'm doing on that headset as well is I'm talking to the referees
29:39The referees can hear me
29:40We need to go, Spider
29:42We need to go
29:43Get him there quick
29:44I told him, I told him
29:46The producers are talking to the referees
29:50All right, stay with Jacob
29:51Braun's gonna meet him with a chair that he's pulling from behind timekeepers
29:54It's a whole nother world in my earpiece
29:56So the fans, you guys are seeing just two wrestlers wrestling, you know
30:00But in my ear, I'm listening to at least, in a match, like five different things
30:04Jacob, Jacob okay?
30:07Everybody's good
30:08He's selling
30:09If the talent needs to pick up their energy, needs to have more urgency
30:14Needs to slow down, let something breathe
30:17Whatever that instruction is, it goes right through the ref
30:22Be careful
30:23I'm swinging a chair near the fans
30:25Brock, be careful
30:27Oh, damn it
30:29Do not push fans
30:30Right to the gun, right to the back, to the back again
30:33To the shoulders
30:34Oh, those are extras
30:35Oh, wow
30:38Yes, those are extras
30:40Timing's probably the biggest pitfall that we need to look out for
30:44I can relay messages through the referees to the talent
30:48So a lot of times, hey guys, we only have two minutes left
30:50We're not gonna be able to fit all four of this in
30:52So that becomes stressful
30:54Going heavy or going short are equally bad
30:59So plan A, hit your time
31:03Plan B, hit your time
31:05How much time we in?
31:07Oh, we're good
31:08Seven and eight left
31:09We're good
31:10We're good
31:11Real good
31:12Our business is about telling stories
31:14This is awesome
31:15Thanks
31:16Everything we want and more
31:18And the epicenter of making that happen
31:21In real time, live
31:23Is Guerrilla Position
31:24Is Guerrilla Position
31:42Larry
31:47Damien
31:49Damien
31:51Good boy
31:52Good boy
31:53Good boy
31:54I'm gonna go to work
31:55Okay
32:07I just feel this incredible weight of pressure and responsibility
32:13And
32:18These are the moments in where I move the best
32:21This is where I thrive
32:24Calm waters don't make good sailors
32:29I think everybody needs a little bit of the adversity
32:35Maybe a little less bullshit
32:37But the adversity is a good thing
32:40How are you feeling that tonight?
32:42How are you feeling that tonight?
32:43How are you feeling that tonight?
32:44Shits
32:45I'm probably not there yet
32:46Yeah
32:47I will do you need
32:48I'm good
32:49I'm good
32:50Unless you want to fucking tagging
32:51No I don't
32:52I don't
32:53I want you to do your thing
32:54Well then we're all fun
32:56Hey
33:01The day came and it was just stressful
33:06Just plain and simple stressful
33:08I just didn't have
33:11Any
33:13Brain cells working that day
33:19It felt like this was
33:20The biggest show of the year
33:25Also it was living my big blow-off match as well
33:29I had all these things going through my mind
33:32I don't know if I prepared
33:37I definitely didn't sleep
33:38I don't know if I'm dehydrated
33:41I know that I'm not ready for this
33:45I was almost in tears
33:52I just couldn't switch on at all
34:02I didn't even know what makeup I wanted
34:05I had gear made because it was such a big deal
34:11And I didn't even end up wearing it
34:12I just wore something else
34:14Because I was like
34:15I can't think
34:16I can't put that on
34:18I don't think it looks good on me
34:19Because we just had Christmas too
34:20So like I ate a little bit much
34:22I'm like
34:23I don't want to wear that
34:24You know
34:25So
34:26Girl problems
34:27I know
34:31Hey
34:32How are you?
34:33Good to see you
34:34Oh yeah
34:35Countdown
34:3610-9-8
34:37In here
34:38I think that's okay
34:39Appreciate you
34:40I don't want to go let it out
34:41What are you saying?
34:42Paul sent me a text and he said
34:44It's like mania
34:45I broke back the finger
34:47So I can do it
34:48Tonight I'm not taking the back seat
34:50So I can sit back a little bit and enjoy it
34:53And this is
34:57You know it's time for the farewell tour
34:59This hurts your hip
35:01Or like your SI joint
35:02We'll be alright
35:06I thought and always want this to be right for you for the year
35:18I want you to get to the end of this year and be like
35:20Man that was everything I hoped it would be
35:22You know?
35:23Well it's like the last page in a 500 page book
35:28Yeah
35:29All of us would really have to fuck it up for that last page to ruin
35:33Yeah, yeah, yeah
35:34499
35:35There's a way
35:36Sure
35:37Sure
35:38But I'll play the stats and say it's not going to happen
35:41Man, what a night
35:42Yeah
35:43Thanks for helping us get here, man
35:50This is Los Angeles
35:52At home tonight
35:53Doing historic Monday Night Raw
35:55In its premiere on Netflix
35:58Are
35:59You
36:01Ready
36:02This is the WWE
36:07And we are louder than anything you have ever seen before
36:12Welcome to Monday Night Raw
36:17Welcome to the Netflix era
36:23Feel like Mania
36:24You talk about history, you talk about record breaking, these things that we're talking about forever
36:36That's this evening
36:37And tonight is about to be the greatest night in the history of wrestling
36:41Hit this man
36:42When The Rock is cooking
36:43The Rock
36:44Kicking off the Netflix era
36:56Carrying the people's championship that was given to him by the widow of Muhammad Ali
36:58Finally, The Rock has come back to Los Angeles
37:15Before we get this show on the road, I wanna acknowledge, this man has carried this company on his back for a year
37:32Cody Rhodes, thank you brother
37:43Thank you for the night
37:44Enjoy this man
37:45I'll do my best
37:46I know it's tough because we get in business mode but man
37:49I will
37:50Enjoy this
37:51I'm always present out there so I'll do my best
37:53Congratulations
37:54Every event is a new live event and I only have a few more next ones left
38:05But I've always lived by the philosophy that you're only as good as your next one
38:12The hits keep coming
38:15I enjoy when our audience takes over
38:19And trying to figure out that Rubik's Cube and that riddle of
38:24What do I do now?
38:25This is what this year is about
38:28It's about making moments and who am I gonna face at WrestleMania
38:31Who am I gonna face in my last match in December?
38:34They're throwing out all kinds of names like Drew McIntyre
38:40CM Punk
38:44Cody Rhodes
38:47The best way to say thank you to you is win the Royal Rumble and make history at WrestleMania
38:52Right?
38:54You want some?
38:57Come get some
39:06John that was awesome, thank you so much man
39:09I'm sorry I didn't want to bother you, I just want to say good luck, do your thing
39:14Do your thing
39:15Do your thing
39:16Thank you for everything
39:17Thank you for everything
39:18Yes
39:19All right man
39:20Thanks for caring the company
39:21Bye, bye, bye, boom
39:23Knee, roll out, head bump, boom
39:24Double set a little bit, go together, head kick, boom
39:25She whips me, I duck under, I go under, it's grip time, boom
39:29One, two, one
39:30Oh my god, what the fuck
39:32Dom, boom, Victoria, hit her, she drops the chair, turn around, fuck it, boom
39:36It's a lot
39:37Yeah, I know
39:38I like to go to Priest and I like to just like go over what I'm gonna be doing out there
39:43Yeah, it's a lot, just be prepared to cut and because you can't just rush through everything without your emotion
39:47I don't want to rush through the emotion
39:48Oh my god, what the fuck
39:49Dom, boom, Victoria, hit her, she drops the chair, turn around, fucking boom
39:52It's a lot
39:54I like to go to Priest and I like to just like go over what I'm gonna be doing out there
40:01Yeah, it's a lot, just be prepared to cut and because you can't just rush through everything without your emotion
40:12So it was just him pretty much telling me like, less is more, which is a massive thing in this business
40:18Like less is really more
40:20Like I said, either slapping the mat or just a fucking scream but like to yourself, not even for the crowd
40:25Yeah
40:26It's just realistic, you know what I mean?
40:27Like you're like, ugh, and you stand up, you didn't catch that
40:30And then you, I mean mouth something if you want to say something like, but naturally, for real, like to look at her and be like
40:36Now I'm gonna fucking kill you without the fuck, but
40:40Take it easy
40:41But then it's so weird because like, I went from having an emotional breakdown and a massive panic attack
40:49To hearing my music, walking out there and being completely fine
40:53Tonight an opportunity for Rhea Ripley to get a title back
41:01If you look up the word superstar in the dictionary, that woman's face would be on that page, Rhea Ripley has it all
41:23Has it all
41:25And then just wanting to really blow that match out of the water
41:29I feel like I've been living groundhog day for like the past two and a half years
41:43So now that this is the end
41:47It's kind of weird
41:49Looking for riptie now
41:51On Morgan, riptied by Ripley
41:53Stacks on Morgan, for the championship
41:55Morgan kicked out
41:57It was just hard
41:59Coming up with a different way to do it all
42:01But we kind of like, grabbed the ball and ran with it
42:05Referee didn't see it, cover
42:07All right, we still got about 45 seconds until we're back
42:11Let her know, 45 seconds she can grab a hold of shots
42:13Happy
42:15Grab that hold
42:17Liv and I really just wanted to go off with a bang
42:23Trying to fight back and somehow get into this
42:27Looking for oblivion yet again, this time intercepted
42:31Rhea intercepted Liv
42:33Not this time around, Rhea says
42:35Looking into the eyes of Rhea
42:37Bloody riptie
42:39Ripley
42:41Ripley
42:43The reaction for her is incredible
42:45It's hard not to look at her
42:49As the most captivating woman on our roster
42:55Rhea again, setting up Morgan for another riptie
42:59Rhea's not done yet
43:01A second riptie
43:03Third of the match, cover
43:05Rhea Ripley wins the women's world title
43:09And move
43:11Ladies and gentlemen, strapped a rocket to her back
43:15Put Monday Night Raw on it
43:19What is this idiot doing?
43:21Of course, we all know Dominic's a gold digger
43:25Of course he wants Rhea back, she's the champ now
43:27Rhea's face
43:29Yeah, stay wide, don't miss this kick
43:31Yes!
43:37That was deep
43:39Yeah, very deep
43:41Riptide!
43:43To the dumbass Dominic Mysterio!
43:47Congratulations to the brand new women's world champion, Rhea Ripley!
43:53Rhea Ripley!
43:55Yeah!
43:56Good job, Amy!
43:57Good job!
43:58Yeah!
43:59Good fucking job!
44:00Yeah, it was fun, wasn't it?
44:01Fun!
44:02Great job!
44:03Sorry, I had to rush
44:04We thought we were gonna do the program right now
44:05It was great
44:06Thank you
44:07So proud of you
44:08So proud of everything you've done
44:09Thank you
44:10I can't tell you a time when I have felt like
44:13Hey, who's the most over person in the company right now
44:16And it's not like you're not one of the most over women here
44:20One of the most older people here
44:22Thank you
44:23It's amazing
44:24Thank you
44:25It's really great
44:26Your aura is off the chart
44:27And we're gonna run
44:28Come on everyone
44:29That New Year's evil on a TV
44:30So good
44:31So proud of you
44:32Thank you
44:33I appreciate it
44:34Just getting started
44:35Today was a completely different feeling
44:38I know how much pressure was riding on this
44:41I mean, I think it was a very successful night
44:44We went out there
44:46The crowd was into it the entire time
44:48So I'm grateful to everyone here at WWE
44:52For letting the little girl in me from Athlete South Australia
44:56Live out her wildest dreams
44:58So you guys are my brutally honest European friends
45:02Tell me how it is when I'm done
45:03You know
45:05Depends on that
45:06Those are the moments we're doing it for
45:08High pressure
45:09Yeah
45:10Big expectations
45:11Yes
45:12I told Hunter today
45:14You know
45:15This big thing
45:1710, 12 years ago
45:18About the main event of Wrestlemania
45:20This is
45:21Why did I fucking get what I asked for?
45:23Hell yeah
45:24Hell yeah
45:25Hell yeah
45:28I'm looking at that Rob debut
45:30Like
45:31Holy shit
45:32I constantly have what I call
45:36Anticipatory anxiety now
45:38Like right now
45:39Like right now
45:40I'm just riddled with it
45:41In a way
45:42I'm almost waiting for it to all be over
45:45The only time I'm not gonna feel that way
45:48Is when the red light's on and the bell rings
45:51I have no boss
45:54I'm 100% in control
45:57I can do whatever the fuck I want
45:59I can do whatever the fuck I want
46:06Here we go
46:08Two men that are beloved by the WWE Universe
46:11Seth freaking Rollins
46:14And a man who has become his arch nemesis
46:18CM Punk
46:22Yolos time wise
46:24Just give me before 8 o'clock
46:26Gotcha
46:27We're good
46:28We're just trying to back load it Bruce
46:30Yes sir
46:31People had in their own minds
46:34That
46:35It's Netflix
46:36We can go 2 hours
46:37We can go 3 hours
46:38We can go 4 hours if we want
46:40Not
46:41True
46:43You've gotta try to keep the emotions in check
46:48It was a great match
46:49It was awesome
46:50Now Seth Rollins
46:51Gonna send Punk into the barricade
46:53But it was way long
46:56Oh and Rollins
46:57Set out into the
46:58Middle of the WWE fans
