USC Trojans head coach Lincoln Riley discusses Defensive Tackle Jamaal Jarrett's size and power
Transcript
00:00Yeah, it's exciting.
00:12I mean, that's one of the fun parts is going to these different places,
00:14playing these different people and going to some of these places that our staff and
00:19our players have never been.
00:20So it'll be first Big Ten game, be a lot of excitement around it.
00:25We're looking forward to the talent.
00:27Yeah, he might be a cheeseburger or two ahead of that right now.
00:40He's a big dude, and like some guys, you'd be concerned at that way.
00:44But obviously, the way he's built, it's pretty unique.
00:48He's a massive, massive human being, man, and he's done a good job.
00:55He's an eager kid, has really worked hard.
00:59He's probably already one of the more beloved guys on the roster, just because he's got a
01:04real energy for everybody in the program and really seems like he really wants to be good.
01:08And so he's impressed a lot of people because, I mean, he's just one of those guys you see
01:14that we had a lot of instances in spring.
01:17Like when he really goes and he's really confident and turns it loose, like he's tough to block.
01:23I mean, he's going to be tough to block for a lot of people just because his size,
01:27the power that he can generate is pretty unique.
01:30So, yeah, he's definitely a part of that revamped interior that I know there's just, you know,
01:37watching our offense and defense compete in the spring, you know, you felt the impact of our interior, guys,
01:44more than in years past.
