I have not renewed my Nigerian passport, I think, not since the early 2000s.
00:08
It's just, I don't identify with it anymore.
00:12
Most of my life has been in the UK, and I just never felt a need to.
00:17
So when I go there, when my dad died, I had to get a visa to go to Nigeria,
00:23
which is all a big Fandango.
00:24
And because I am Nigerian through ancestry, despite not being born there,
00:30

00:33
But by identity, I'm not really.
00:37
I know the country very well.
00:38
I have a lot of family there, and I'm very interested in what happens there.
00:42
But home is where my now family is.
00:46
And my now family is my children.
00:48
It's my husband, my brother, and his children, and in-laws.
00:54
And the Conservative Party is very much part of my family, my extended family, I call it.
