Which Auburn Tigers Freshmen have a Chance to Play in 2025

The Auburn Tigers had a top-10 recruiting class, but they also have a lot of talent already on the depth chart.

00:00Yeah, you know, the fortunate thing in that is we played a lot of freshmen last

00:06year that are talented and that, you know, will have another year under their

00:10belt and you would hope you can get to a point pretty quick after a couple

00:15recruiting classes that the dependence is not on just freshmen like it was

00:21somewhat last year at certain spots. So I don't, you know, I hope we can bring,

00:27you know, Sam has done a heck of a job at receiver, but that room is deep, but man,

00:34he's playing really, really well. Duke is really, really talented, but again,

00:40there's some depth there that you would hope you can slowly bring those guys

00:43along and not throw people out there until they're ready. Same in Deuce's case,

00:48you know, you want him to be ready because he is a really big talent. And so, you know,

00:54then you look at the D line, I do expect Crawford and Autry to, to, I don't know how

01:00many plays. I think what we're looking at in that D line right now is more depth than

01:04we've had. But I think they need to buy into, and again, we're, we hadn't started

01:10camp yet, so I could change this tune, but I'm hopeful that they'll buy into me and give

01:16give us 15 plays that are your fanatical best and be able to rotate those guys and,

01:24and then them do the right assignment with incredible effort. And I think with that depth

01:29we have, if they can buy into that, I think that's going to be better for them and for the team.

01:35So I do expect a couple of those young ones, linebacker, expect Melendez to, to be in the,

01:42in the mix there. Safeties, we've got the two young, you know, winners and new boy that I think,

01:47and I already mentioned those two freshman corners. Um, that's, that's probably Kel Ellis

01:53is a, um, is going to be a really good football player. Is, is it ready this year? I don't know,

02:00but we like those freshmen too, but obviously we have a class in front of them that has a little

02:06more experience. So we'll have to see how that goes.
