00:00It's week two of Dallas Cowboys training camp and Faith we got to hear from the coordinators

00:09specifically defensive coordinator Matt Ewerflus we got to ask him about this word violent we've

00:14been hearing amongst the players what did he have to say about it yeah he said that good football

00:19is played with good technique great speed and great physicality and that in itself is violence

00:24awesome what about the players who did we hear that word from we heard it from Kair Elam and

00:29also Solomon Thomas who gave credit to Ewerflus's defense saying that it is high energy it's also

00:36violent and it's high intensity so that but that is also something that they want to embody and so

00:42also going back to what coach Ewerflus said earlier that they have to grind every day to achieve that

00:47and that's what these guys are doing every single day these players are getting watched not just by

00:52the public but also the coaching staff they're evaluating them how is Ewerflus evaluating them

00:57more like educating them he said that he's grading them on their own number scale in a neutral ground

01:03because he already has a personal relationship with them but he also has a job to do awesome there's a

01:08system that all these coaches abide by in terms of educating evaluating those players but also one

01:15that the defense is implementing that 4-3 scheme what are your thoughts on it yeah we heard from Solomon

01:20Thomas who said that it's a great implementation because they're going to have a more aggressive front

01:24which is going to keep any offense on their toes and Sydney speaking of offense coach Ewerflus said

01:30that Clayton Adams is the best in the business what did he have to say about that he chuckled at that

01:35which got all of us chuckling whenever we were sitting in that press conference but then he redirected

01:40it instantly back to how coach Ewerflus has really influenced him in his personal philosophies

01:45you know he coached with him in Indianapolis and while Adams was at the Cardinals he got to coach

01:52against Ewerflus when he was with the Bears and he said that his defense that philosophy has really

01:57influenced his own he said he learned from Ewerflus that that defense that's how he wants his offense

02:03to play against it wow and the question that everyone wants to know is how does he feel about

02:07CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens listen everyone wants to know about George Pickens that trade from the

02:12Steelers it really helps what people are saying is kind of a wide receiver room in terms of a

02:181A 1B situation coach Adams was saying that George Pickens is in one word I quote awesome

02:25what he loves about the two of them is something that CeeDee Lamb said he said that people haven't

02:30even seen what George Pickens has in his toolbox and Adams goes trust me I can't wait to see what

02:36he has in his toolbox he's excited for every day to check it out that's amazing and something that is

02:41on the downside is that Tyler Guyton has gotten injured and he's going to be missing a few weeks

02:46what did coach say is going to be happening until his return well it creates a lot of competition

02:50and that's something that this coaching staff believes in from the jump they don't train to

02:56you know get the starters ready they're training everybody at all times because you have to this
