01:39Preppy girl to me is very, very neat and proper.
01:44Like it's a gorgeous style but it's not me.
01:46It's going to be soft, glowy skin, quite light eye makeup, glossy lips.
01:51It's all kind of soft, very different from her usual look but I'm excited to see what she thinks.
01:58So I'm now going to start with the makeup removal process.
02:01I'm just using a gentle E45 cleanser.
02:05So how do you feel about the eyebrow situation?
02:08Obviously I'm rubbing them off now.
02:10Yeah, I mean it's not the best look because I'm naturally blonde and I've shaved a lot of them off.
02:17My look before was very what you would call basic.
02:20I don't really like the term but it's normal.
02:23And I did love pink and I had blonde hair.
02:26I've killed the old Adelaide I think.
02:28So I'm just going to use the Rosalique 3-in-1 Cleansing Balm.
02:32This is great for any makeup that's a little bit more stubborn to remove.
02:36In 2019 I got really unwell with a brain malformation that kept me in bed for quite a long time.
02:41I didn't have any creative expression or anything and I came across Susie and the Banshees.
02:48I was looking at the style and the culture and I was really really into it.
02:52I think my personality has kind of come with this and it's been reshaped.
02:56I used to be very shy.
02:57I'm the complete opposite of that now.
02:58Like I feel outgoing and I feel like a good powerful version of myself.
03:02So I'm now going to use the Laneige lip sleeping mask.
03:07This is super hydrating.
03:09It's going to be weird not looking dead anymore.

03:16I grew up in a very conservative town.
03:19It was very proper.
03:21I felt like people would judge me and I couldn't express myself.
03:25I've gone back to my hometown since and people have shouted things at the street to me like monster,

03:35I had somebody spit at me once actually.

03:38And somebody threw a stone at my car.
03:41I'm now going to use this beautiful copper colour from the LC palette.

03:47People make assumptions about me all the time thinking that I'm some sort of crazy like,

03:56But no part of me on this earth has ever changed myself just to please someone else.
04:02So what's made you want to do this transformation today?
04:06So more than anything it is for grandma, but also for selfish reasons.
04:10I am very intrigued about what this is going to look like.
04:13Because I haven't seen myself any other way for a very long time.

04:18So I'm just going to start applying a camouflage concealer on top of the tattoos
04:23to counteract the sort of blueness of the ink.
