Liverpool lining up British record fee for Alexander Isak as Newcastle learn Swede’s stance

Liverpool are preparing a British-record bid for Newcastle striker Alexander Isak, with the Swedish star reportedly pushing for a move away from St James’ Park this summer.  Isak is understood to have told Newcastle he wants to leave, with Fabrizio Romano confirming the 24-year-old has made his intentions “very clear” following talks with his agents.
