00:00Yep.
00:02I want to say, especially
00:04for representative Crockett.
00:06Can you feel a little bit
00:08about what you're hearing
00:10about Democrats when you do
00:12take the power of this, who
00:14referred to it. And I know
00:16you don't know what everybody
00:18else is doing, but can you
00:20talk a little bit about how
00:22the Democratic Party might
00:24counter this? Well, I mean,
00:26there's a lot of strategies
00:28that can be employed. Obviously
00:29they actually broke quorum
00:31that was even smaller than
00:33this. I mean, obviously it
00:35was a very big deal. And one
00:37of the things that I did not
00:39iterate in my comments is that
00:41we've talked a lot about how
00:43we all know that everything's
00:45bigger in Texas, but I want to
00:47be clear that this is bigger
00:49than Texas. All right. And one
00:51of the things that we did not
00:53talk about is the fact that
00:55whoever is the speaker, which
00:57it needs to be, Hakeem Jeffries,
00:59is more than Texas. This is why
01:01I am asking if there are other
01:03governors that are willing to
01:05do this because this is about
01:07our democracy. This isn't about
01:09any singular seat right here,
01:11because we don't own these
01:12seats anyway. These seats
01:13belong to the people. But when
01:14we think about the fact that
01:15they are openly saying, oh yeah,
01:16there's ways to have a third
01:17term. Well, let me tell you,
01:19they can nominate whoever they
01:20want to with the Republican
01:21rules, but we're going to
01:22follow the Constitution up in
01:23here if we are the ones that
01:24actually have the gavels. So
01:26this is one of the reasons
01:27that I am asking for
01:28everybody to use whatever
01:29tools they have in their
01:30toolbox. It was the house
01:31that broke quorum when we
01:32were in the state house. But
01:33obviously the Senate, they
01:35could also break quorum. We
01:36know that they did that back
01:37in 2003 in the state of
01:39Texas. We also know that
01:41there are donors that I'm
01:43sure are going to be willing
01:45to make sure that they are
01:46investing and making sure that
01:47they can take down some of
01:48these candidates since they
01:50don't want to rule out dark
01:51money. We will I'm sure some
01:53dark money going pour in on
01:55the behalf of the American
01:57people. So what I am saying
01:58is every tactic as well as
02:00making sure we're touching
02:01people. I will spend a lot of
02:03time in the state of Texas. I
02:05have traveled this country,
02:06but I am going to be boots
02:07on the ground informing Texans
02:09because listen to this. When
02:11we had our Senate election
02:12against that one senator that
02:13I'm not a fan of, Cruz, Beto
02:16lost by three points. Beto
02:17in that particular election,
02:19we only had a 17% voter turnout.
02:22We only need to turn out
02:24people in Texas. That is why
02:25they are so pressed to
02:26suppress their votes. So if
02:28we turn out, imagine what
02:29it looks like if 25% of
02:31registered voters turn out.
02:32So let me be clear, just
02:34like on his little birthday,
02:36he had his bootleg parade
02:37that cost the American people
02:38close to $50 million for free.
02:40More people showed up around
02:42this country to protest him.
02:44We are going to do the same
02:46things. We're going to hit them
02:48polls and we're going to hit
02:49them hard. Absolutely.
