00:00Kenny Pickett is a veteran and he doesn't make a lot of money and could be on your roster.

00:04But when you look at the roster construction of the Cleveland Browns,

00:07it always felt to me that even though he's a veteran guy, he should be the odd man out.

00:12Like Flacco's not going to like upset the apple cart in the locker room if he doesn't start.

00:16He understands what, hey, look, making a couple more dollars.

00:19I'm aging.

00:20I'll guide these veterans or these young kids through.

00:22But if I need to start, I can.

00:24And I probably will opening day, which leaves the door open to Dylan Gabriel and Shador Sanders.

00:27Like if we're having quarterback merry-go-round rotations here,

00:32I think Kenny Pickett typically is the odd man out.

00:34But how do you feel about the situation now where Pickett is injured with a hamstring?

00:37He's going to miss some time.

00:39And what that means for the opening day starter for the Cleveland Browns.

00:43Well, listen, it was going to be a competition one way or the other, right?

00:48I mean, Musgrave, who's the quarterback coach there, had nothing but great things to say about him.

00:54You know, he said that first couple of practices here at training camp, like he came in, he came in ready.

01:01He was more than impressed with what he saw for him.

01:03But unfortunately, injuries like this happen.

01:06So hopefully he won't be out too long.

01:09They say he'll be reevaluated next week.

01:12But again, where one day this opens up a, you know, plenty of opportunities for Gabriel, for Sanders.

01:18Like you said, I don't think Flacco, you are what you are at 40 years old.

01:23And there's really, he's not going to go in and dazzle anybody there.

01:26Plus, he's already had been there.

01:28So I think this is all about opening the door for the younger guys.

01:32The question is, will one of them step up and walk through it?

01:35That's going to be the big question.
