At least two bumiputra companies are targeted to be listed on Bursa Malaysia this year, says Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
Dr Ahmad Zahid said 15 high-performing companies will be shortlisted under the Bumiputera Rapid Acceleration and Value Enhancement (Brave) programme, with five receiving intensive guidance as part of preparations for listing.
Ahmad Zahid’s speech was read by Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development Minister Datuk Ewon Benedick when launching the Brave programme in Kuala Lumpur on Monday (July 28).
