01:42this dearborn heights michigan taco bell from fox 2 news yeah that 18 year old that you mentioned

01:49he walked to this taco bell from detroit he was apparently disgruntled something about a calling

01:56about a job application and didn't get a call back when he got inside the lobby started conversing

02:01with employees it all escalated then police say he pulled up his shirt and showed what appeared to be

02:07a pistol the top of your head this job hunt halted thursday you're doing good so just follow my

02:14command so otherwise don't move on the ground face down a taco bell employee hopeful and in his

02:21waistband it looked very very real but upon for the review by dearborn heights police officers on scene

02:27he removed the the weapon from his waistband and found out it was a modified bb gun that looked like a

02:34glock when he allegedly walked into the taco bell lobby off telegraph near ann arbor trail

02:39employees thought the gun was the real deal he was upset because he's been trying to reach out to

02:45them to obtain an application he loves it and uh he said he reached out a couple times and no one

02:50responded chief says the teen apparently came in looking for answers instead scared the life out of

02:55employees tipped tables and then took off they could not have more we're hiring signs no like they have

03:01posters they have a billboard like they need workers right but they have like numbers to text

03:07like he was like can you send me this stuff they're like yeah just like go ahead and text all

03:25just a few blocks away officers stopped the suspect's stroll you have any weapons on you
