00:06black king keeps this pawn. But we can try to limit bishop's options by

00:18playing king d5, controlling c5 square and renewing the threat a6, a6, a7, a8.

00:26But black bishop goes back. So what did we achieve? How can we improve our position?

00:32Because bishop will be always trying to outmaneuver white's king by threatening to

00:39appear on this key diagonal, a7, g1. But we have one more pawn. So what can we do with

00:46this pawn? Deflection. We can do something, okay, sacrificing the pawn, but to deflect

00:53the bishop, to limit its ability to move from one diagonal to another diagonal.

01:00That's very important for bishop to be able to return to f8. So what if we play g5 check?

01:05Now, if king takes, then king closes the diagonal. And then after a6, our pawn will be

01:13promoted. But what if bishop takes on g5? But then our king goes back.

01:21And you see now bishop cannot go back to f8. It should look for another desperate option
