00:01You'll never see a man like him come down the pike again.
00:05That's Sylvester Stallone remembering his friend and co-star Hulk Hogan.
00:09So in the wake of all the tributes over the death of Hulk Hogan,
00:13you spoke with someone who helped launch his career, Sly Stallone.
00:17Back in 1982, Sly cast a not-yet-known Hulk in Rocky III as Thunderlips.
00:23And even then, Sly knew he was destined for stardom.
00:26He just came in and you knew that this guy had a glow about him.
00:30And initially he says he wasn't even going to be cast because some people thought he was too big because he just towered.
00:36Hulk was around 6'7 and 315 pounds.
00:40Guys, that's the whole point. It's like David and Goliath. The bigger the better.
00:44But despite the size difference, Sly said Hulk was very gentle.
00:48Except for one time when he threw Sly into the corner.
00:51He came down and hit me with his shin bone.
00:54Shin right here. I went face forward and I literally laid on the canvas.
01:00I don't want to get up. So I know my collarbone is sticking straight up.
01:05But it's obvious Sly has nothing but love for Hulk.
01:08The beauty is that we have that on film forever.
01:11And I just hope the fans appreciate it because that was the beginning of a titan.
01:17He was a piece of a lot of people's childhood. I think that died yesterday.
01:20Including my dog walker. We were doing this live stream on YouTube and in the middle of it my phone starts blowing up and it's my dog walker saying make it stop.
01:30This is my youth disappearing.
01:32Now pick up the poop.
01:34Thanks Sly for sharing those great Hulk Hogan memories.
01:39I can say I'm just a better person for knowing him.
01:42This is my son of a Dino.
01:43I can say she was a little bit taller.
01:44I can't believe it's the only way to die.
