00:00It's adventure time!
00:02Whitcher it doesn't go, whitcher it doesn't go.
00:04Hi guys! I'm making a fourth video in one week.
00:08What is this? Surprise attacks.
00:10Suddenly surprise videos all over your YouTubes.
00:15For me. For you. Bad at talking.
00:18I'm sitting in front of my bookcase right now.
00:20I don't think I've ever done this before.
00:21And I got my fancy camera back.
00:23I hope you guys are happy because I know you didn't like the eyesight.
00:25Slammy cow!
00:27I made this video to tell you about performance art.
00:30I frequently go see performance art here in New York City.
00:32Some of my favorite pieces over the past year have included a man who sang the
00:36entire side of a low-fat Wheat Fins box.
00:39Another show included two girls who did a lot of that
00:43stuff that I can't do because I'm not coordinated.
00:45At one point they got like a little toy hamster and a little toy hamster wheel
00:49and they took it out of the wheel and they just let it go across the stage and they yelled
00:52GOOOOOO!
00:55Getting to my point.
00:56This weekend I went to see some Polish acoustic electro music.
01:00But I spent a lot of the show thinking about like
01:03what I would do if I had my own performance art show.
01:05And I think I've settled on it.
01:07So if any of you are incredibly wealthy or in a gallery or
01:12my email address is on my channel page and you can inquire about this.
01:16The theme of the piece is documentation.
01:18I go into a venue, maybe a large church.
01:21I'm hoping there are two floors.
01:24Like a balcony all around the top side and then a big open floor down below.
01:27So I put the audience on the bottom floor and I spread them all out a little bit.
01:30Normally you would sit right next to somebody in the audience of a show,
01:32but I want to put people like one seat away.
01:34And I want the audience to be capped at about 20 people.
01:37I come out to start the show and first thing I do is I put a big clock out there.
01:41It's like a timer.
01:43And I set the clock for about 30 minutes and I press go.
01:46Then I start asking the audience questions.
01:48And I ask them all like, where are you all from?
01:51And I write it all down.
01:52So I would spend part of the show measuring the room,
01:54sort of like measuring how big the like dots or the floor space is.
01:58I might start taking off like pieces of clothing,
02:01taking pictures of them with like a Polaroid camera
02:03and writing down details about them,
02:05like where I bought them, how much it cost.
02:07I might weigh myself.
02:08I might document the resonant frequency of the room.
02:11I would definitely document the temperature,
02:14maybe the humidity if I could find a way.
02:15I don't know, that's science.
02:16I would basically write down every piece of information I could.
02:21I just document the room that these 20 people are sitting in for this half an hour.
02:25I actually thought about getting those things that you insert into,
02:27like make your own sound birthday cards
02:29and just recording little like pieces of the room noise,
02:33even if something's happening.
02:34So once I have all of those things,
02:35I start to put them together into a book.
02:38And I do this during the performance still.
02:41And I'll like, you know, paste all the photos of my clothing,
02:43write all my details down neatly,
02:46do any drawings I need to do of like the floor plan of the room
02:49or maybe a sketch of like the person who's in that certain seat,
02:52the front row or something every single show.
02:54So I build this book, it's maybe like 20 pages long,
02:56has all the information of the show.
02:58And the end of the show is just me
03:01xeroxing copies of it and stapling them together.
03:04And then after the show, people are free to leave
03:07or they can stick around for me to finish my photocopying
03:10and take their book away.
03:11Do you guys think I'm crazy because I have this idea?
03:14Um, I really like it.
03:15I'll probably never do it because I'm not a performer.
03:17I'm actually very shy, IRL.
03:20Can you believe it?
03:21I know.
03:21And it doesn't involve me getting naked
03:23and pouring milk and glitter all over myself.
03:24So that's always a good thing.
03:26What do you guys think?
03:27Do you know anything about performance art?
03:28Or have you just seen interior semiotics on the internet?
03:31If you don't know what that is, don't Google it.
03:33You're gonna Google it anyway because you're defying young people.
03:36Okay, I'm gonna go now because I just finished episode 12
03:40of season three of Breaking Bad and I'm like on the edge of my seat.
03:44I need to finish it right now.
03:46Bye!
03:48Bug, you ate them.
03:50Yeah, you ate my prize.
03:53Trivia, that girl, the girl who does the voice from Marceline
03:56and the singing from Marceline
03:57is the American girl that the little boy in love actually is in love with.
04:06You eat it!
04:07Perfect!
04:09Nice job!
04:10noch because I don't think of everyone,
04:12but now I'm really not HARRISON.
04:14Who?
04:14Do you want to go and enjoy the Path Molecular Relief?
04:18Or maybe not?
04:18Where do you bring?
04:20Just kijken.
04:21Keep watching new videos.
04:22And just click on Instagram and watch a couple of ads that will tell you if you're
04:23yn umm there.
04:26They've never at прир analyses than I'm involved in the artisan if you are.
04:28I'm going touÄŸum people what you play with.
04:31Come in.
04:32So.
