00:00All right, so it seems like Detroit wins all of Tariq Skubal's starts,

00:03and then you wonder if they're going to win the rest.

00:05It's kind of how it's going lately.

00:06They lose again to the Pirates.

00:08I mean, I'm not really concerned here, Matt.

00:10I'm sure that they're just going through it right now,

00:12and eventually they'll get it going.

00:13And plus, I'm sure they're going to get a boost at the deadline here next week.

00:17Yeah, I agree.

00:18Look, 1-9 in the last 10, they struggled going into the break.

00:21They struggled coming out of the break.

00:23And not playing very close games against the Pirates, which is a little worried.

00:27But like you said, it's different when Skubal's on the mound.

00:30He's carrying them right now.

00:31Every team has a scuffle at some point in the season.

00:34The Tigers are just going through theirs.

00:36And they're still up eight games in the division.

00:38They're still in great shape.

00:39So they're just a team, again, that's probably going to look to improve here, there,

00:43at the deadline, maybe try to get, you know, some relief arms.

00:47I know they're looking at some of the Twins pitchers that are out there,

00:49might be looking at some of the Marlins pitchers.

00:51Just something like that.

00:52Get a little bit stronger in that rotation to feel good behind Skubal going into playoff series.

00:59But they're still in a pretty good position right now.

01:01I don't think anyone can question that with the lead they built up for themselves.

01:04And playing in the division they're in, that gives them a little bit of a cushion, too.

01:08You know, no team.

01:09I don't know if any other team in that division has a positive run differential.

01:12And they're just, you know, kind of almost coasting to some degree right now.

01:17But, yeah, you don't want to get, you know, too complacent

01:19because you need to be sharp going into the playoffs.
