00:00Next is Kara Northington, Zanna's mother.

00:30I'm Kara Northington, I am Zanna Kernodle's mother.

00:38This letter is to you really, but it is for my daughter who was murdered by you.

00:48Today I stand before you, the man who was responsible for murdering my beautiful daughter,

00:54Santa Kernodle. My daughter was beautiful both inside and out.

01:02She possessed love for those around her and had a light so bright it will live on forever

01:08in our hearts. She brought joy and laughter to her friends, her family, and anyone in

01:16her presence. Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, now has her in His loving arms in Heaven, where

01:27she can never be harmed ever again for eternity. Because of her, I came to know my Lord and

01:35Savior, Jesus Christ. Because of her, many will come to Christ. It is Christ who lives

01:42in me, that has given me the strength to forgive you.

01:48It was of no power of my own. In return, the Lord has filled me with joy, hope, and peace

01:57that surpasses all understanding. Jesus has allowed me to forgive you for murdering my daughter

02:05without you even being sorry, or asking for this. This is only possible because he who

02:14lives in me is greater than any evil in this world. For God hath not given us the spirit

02:21of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. I do not fear you or even let you rent

02:30space in my head anymore. This forgiveness has released me from any and all evil you have

02:38inflicted on me and my family. It has allowed me to let our Lord deal with you.

02:49You have accepted a deal that will prevent you from receiving the death penalty.

02:53Nothing man can do to you can ever compare to the wrath of God.

03:04Inevitably, you will stand before our Lord and will have to answer to him over the sins you

03:10have committed in murdering our children.

03:15I pray you come to the end of yourself before that day.

03:19Whether you like it or not, heaven is for real and so is hell.

03:27The innocent life of Zanna that you stole from myself and my family

03:31and the destruction of this

03:34and the destruction it has caused.

03:38I am washing my hands of you and turning you over to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,

03:49whom vengeance belongs to.

03:52In closing, I want to read a passage from the Bible, Ephesians 6, King James Version.

03:59Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.

04:03Put on the whole armor of God that ye may be able to withstand the wiles of the devil.

04:12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood.

04:21For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,

04:25against the rulers of the darkness of this world,

04:28against spiritual wickedness in high places.

04:32Wherefore, take unto you the whole armor of God,

04:35that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day,

04:38that ye may be able to stand in the evil day.

04:40Amen.

04:58I'm not going to share memories of Zanna or any more of the goodness of her with you

05:09because I do not want that to be in your head.

05:15You don't deserve that.

05:16You don't deserve our good memories that we have.

05:20I do pray for you.

05:21I pray that you come to the end of yourself.

05:22I pray that before this life is over,

05:26that you ask our Lord and Savior in your heart to forgive you.

05:30I do pray for that.

05:32But after today, I wash my hands of you, and you are no longer a thing.
