00:00I mean, where were you when you heard the news about Malcolm Jamal Warner?
00:06What were the feelings?
00:07And how do you feel about Bill Cosby coming out of hiding and kind of, you know, giving a statement on it?
00:10I mean, I was actually right here when I heard it.
00:12I was going to this restaurant, Milos, with my wife yesterday, and we heard about it.
00:16Very sad.
00:17The crazy thing is we just seen him three weeks ago.
00:19We just did his podcast.
00:20So we were on his podcast.
00:21If you look online, it's called Not All Hood.
00:23It's probably the last interview that we did together.
00:25And we were just talking about family and his wife and his kid and his daughter.
00:30No way!
00:31And we were just talking about how much proud he is.
00:32And we were going back and forth about me being a dance dad and just talking about our kids
00:36and how much the small things in life matters to us the most.
00:40So it hit us a little hard because, like I said, we just had a conversation.
00:44We were just talking to him.
00:45You know, you think about a lot of the things that these generations did was because of the Cosby show.
00:49I went to Hampton because of a different world which is connected to the Cosby show.
00:53Right.
00:53I remember, you know, me getting an airing like Theo and having to tell my dad.
00:57I remember the Gordon Patrell interview.
00:59I remember, baby, all the stuff that they did for their grandparents.
01:02I remember that.
01:03So growing up on that was kind of only the positive image that we've seen of black families on television.
01:08So to lose Theo or to lose Malcolm Jamal Warner so early, it just hurts.
01:12Now, Charlemagne said he wants people to stop hashtagging our IP Theo.
01:18But I mean...
01:19I mean, Malcolm Jamal Warner passed away, but Theo was a character that he lived to...
01:23You know, so that meant so much to people.
01:25Malcolm Jamal Warner was a man.
01:27You know what I mean?
01:27He had a family.
01:28He had a kid.
01:29But people are sold into who he was.
01:31You know what I mean?
01:32And I get that and I understand that.
01:33You know, people know him as Theo and they lived off of Theo.
01:36And they, you know, did everything because of Theo.
01:39So I get both of them.
01:40I mean, just rest in peace and just pray for his family.
01:43How was it hearing from Mr. Cosby?
01:45You know, he made some statements yesterday.
01:47He actually did an interview.
01:47I mean, Mr. Cosby said something amazing.
01:48He said that he looked at him like a son.
01:50You know, he lost one son already.
01:52And everything that Cosby went through, he still loved the young man.
01:55And they still spoke and they still had a relationship.
01:57So it's sad all over there.
01:59Wow.
01:59Thank you so much for your time, MB.
02:00Thank you so much.
02:01Ciao.
02:01Peace.
02:02Peace.
