Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, President Trump discussed possibly ending capital gains taxes on home sales.

00:03We've got no tax on tax, no tax on overtime, no tax on Social Security.

00:07How important is it that we have no tax on home sales, capital gains, to unleash the housing market?

00:13Well, we're thinking about that, but would also unleash it just by lowering the interest rates.

00:18If the Fed would lower the rates, we wouldn't even have to do that.

00:21But we are thinking about no tax on capital gains on houses.

00:25And I'm very impressed that you asked that question, because nobody knew that.
