Diego Wardlaw from Boulder, Colorado, USA, captured the hilarious chaos when the tiny creature climbed all over them, clinging to hoodies and refusing to let go. What started as playful confusion soon became a wild rescue adventure, complete with a call to a wildlife hotline and an emotional reunion with the squirrel’s long-lost sister. The pair ended up driving off in their van with both baby squirrels. Diego has struck a bond with Carlos the squirrel and they now live happily ever after! He said: “I was cracking up. It felt unreal and just made me smile so much. “It was such a wild, unexpected moment, I had to capture it. "I'm super happy and grateful. Just reminded me how crazy and beautiful life can be." ENDS

00:00Ladies and gentlemen, here's the long-awaited story of the Norwegian Squirrel Distribution System.

00:05So I'm in Norway, working out at the airport, and all of a sudden, a baby squirrel jumped up on my buddy's leg.

00:10It climbed up Clark's leg, and then straight up onto my arm, and onto my head.

00:15This little guy would not leave me alone.

00:17I figured I should put him back where he came from.

00:19Once I put him down, he didn't want to leave me alone.

00:22He would follow me, and I put my arm down, and he climbed right back up.

00:25Then I guess he realized I was his dad, and crawled right into my hoodie, and got cozy.

00:29Little buddy just wanted a cozy spot to rest after a long day.

00:33I decided to start doing some research.

00:35I ended up calling the Squirrel Hotline.

00:37Yep, I guess that's a real thing.

00:38And they told me if I just leave him back where I found him, he'll most likely die.

00:42I didn't realize how fragile baby squirrels are.

00:44He needs special milk every four hours because he doesn't have teeth yet,

00:47and warmth because he can't regulate his body temperature.

00:50I put him in my pocket to warm up, and I think he liked it.

00:53I decided to name him Carlos, and then I randomly ran into a girl at the airport

00:57who also found a baby squirrel a few days before.

01:00And the other squirrel was definitely his sister.

01:03We named her Frida.

01:04We gave Carlos some puppy milk, and he chugged it like that's what he was born to do.

01:09After some nutrients, he was stoked to play around with his sister.

01:12Carlos is now healthy and happy and getting stronger every day,

01:16and in a week or two, once his teeth are finished growing,

01:19gonna let him back out into the wild to live his crazy squirrel life.
