HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE AN ELEPHANT TO DRINK 20L OF WATER WITH VID BY Mikey Jones Watch the moment Rambo the rescued elephant shows just how quickly a thirsty giant can down 20 litres of water, in seconds flat. At 22 years old and 6 tonnes, Rambo is both mighty and mesmerising in his gentle grace. Greyling, moved by the encounter, describes the experience as soul-touching — only truly sinking in after rewatching the footage. The moment was caught on camera by Bonnie Greyling, 34, from South Africa, who filmed the footage at Bayete elephant interaction, South Africa. Bonnie said: “Rambo, a 22-year-old rescued elephant, is demonstrating how fast a grown elephant can drink 20L of water. “I spent the morning interacting with Rambo, and in that moment, I was still processing everything, how gentle he actually is, and how he just touches your soul. “It was only after watching the video a few hours later that I actually realized how amazing it is. “The game rangers are truly inspiring. "They have become a part of this elephant's herd, and they spend hours every day walking in the bush with these gentle giants to protect them. “They do amazing work for the conservation of these animals.” ENDS
