00:00So there was some additional Ryder Cup news that you had for me.

00:05I do. I have one more thing, of course, that came out this morning.

00:10So Luke Donald, who of course is captaining the European team,

00:14he has agreed to a rule at the Ryder Cup that will allow one of the vice captains,

00:19whichever one Bradley picks, to be able to have the on-course captain duties

00:25if Keegan Bradley is playing in a session.

00:28So what this means, Scotty, is the captain, you know,

00:32they all have three or four vice captains running around with them out there helping them out.

00:37But only the captain is allowed to go on the course and discuss strategy

00:42with the golfers who are on the course in terms of maybe coming up to him and saying,

00:47hey, the guy's ahead of you are down, or hey, look, you know, do this, you know.

00:52If Bradley, of course, is playing, somebody else would have to fill that role,

00:57whether that's, you know, he's got a lot of guys with him, Kisner, Gary Woodland,

01:01all these guys who are going to be vice captains.

01:03So one of them, Scotty, is going to be allowed to go around and do that

01:07if Bradley's out playing a session.

01:09So that was what Luke Donald agreed to,

01:11which I don't see why you wouldn't agree to that if Bradley's going to play.

01:14So we obviously know that Keegan's going to play.

01:19I think that for them having to go and make a news item out of that,

01:24I think that that tells you that he's going to play.

01:26And as I said to you earlier, and I have the last few weeks,

01:29I don't think there's a question he's one of the 12 best American golfers.

01:34And honestly, with the way some of the guys who are mainstays on the team

01:37have performed this year, they're going to need him.

01:40Because Morikawa sucks right now.

01:43I don't even know what Cantlay's been doing for the last three months.

01:47And some of these other guys, you know,

01:48Spieth's played a little bit better, believe it or not.

01:51And maybe he's got a shot to be on the team.

01:54Maybe not.

01:54But they're going to need somebody to step up that they're not expecting

01:59on this team.

02:01Because the Europeans look, you know,

02:02they look strong with some of the guys that they're going to have over here

02:05at Bethpage.

02:06So a couple weeks from the Ryder Cup, very exciting stuff.
