00:00Most people, when they tie their liner on their spool, they'll just loop it around like that,

00:04and then throw a uni knot on here, like such, and then they'll tie that off.

00:10But what happens here is that you get a big, bulky knot on your spool.

00:14So a better way to do this is loop around your spool the same way.

00:18But now, instead of tying my knot here, I'm gonna actually take the tag end

00:23and go back like I was to go around the spool again.

00:27And now, I'm gonna tie the uni knot around my main line.

00:33So I'm gonna make a loop, do some wraps, like a normal uni knot.

00:44Pull tight, and now what this does is it makes the knot lay parallel to the face of the spool

00:53so you don't get that big, bulky projection.
