00:00Beloved, we are living in an hour of profound deception.
00:04There is a denomination in our midst, a once thriving branch of the visible church that
00:09still bears the name of Christ, still sings His praises, and still opens His Word.
00:15But do not be misled.
00:16Though it preaches Christ in name, it serves darkness in practice.
00:20This is no small error.
00:22This is not a matter of minor doctrinal disagreement or denominational distinctives.
00:27This is apostasy.
00:29This is the slow but steady abandonment of the gospel.
00:33This denomination has exalted human wisdom above divine revelation.
00:38It has redefined sin, affirmed what God condemns, and traded repentance for relevance.
00:45Its pulpits have grown silent on judgment, holiness, and the cross.
00:50Its leaders have bowed the knee not to Christ but to the idols of cultural conformity.
00:56They have a form of godliness but deny its power .
01:00They speak of love while they enable destruction.
01:05They proclaim unity but it is a unity built on compromise, not truth.
01:10It is time to sound the alarm.
01:12This message is not a denunciation of a building or a brand but a call to clarity, to courage,
01:18and to faithfulness to the Lord Jesus Christ.
01:21Let the church hear what the Spirit says.
01:23One, false profession versus true gospel, a name that lives but is dead.
01:29There is perhaps no greater tragedy than a church that names Christ but denies Him in practice.
01:35The denomination in question still recites the Apostles' Creed, still sings of Jesus' name,
01:42and still claims to uphold the gospel.
01:45But the Christ they preach is not the Christ of Scripture.
01:49It is a Christ domesticated by culture, stripped of judgment, emptied of wrath, and rebranded
01:56as a spiritual mascot for human self-fulfillment.
02:00This is the tragedy of a false profession.
02:03A church can claim to follow Christ and yet be entirely foreign to the gospel that saves.
02:09The true gospel calls for repentance, Mark 1.15, demands holiness, 1 Peter 1.16, and glorifies
02:18the sovereignty of God in salvation, Romans 9.
02:22But this denomination has made peace with sin, appeased the world, and declared neutrality
02:28in the spiritual war for truth.
02:30They have opted for a wide gate and a broad road, Matthew 7.13.
02:36They have traded a crucified Christ for a commercialized one.
02:41What remains is a powerless message, a form of godliness devoid of the Spirit's transforming
02:47power, 2 Timothy 3.5.
02:51The world loves a Christ who does not confront sin, but the true Christ divides.
02:57He said, do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth.
03:01I did not come to bring peace, but a sword, Matthew 10.34.
03:07And that sword, the Word of God, has been laid aside by this denomination in favor of peace
03:12with the culture.
03:14The result is a message that cannot save, shepherds who cannot warn, and churches that cannot stand.
03:20Christ is not glorified by doctrinal compromise or sentimental slogans.
03:25He is glorified when His people stand unflinchingly on the gospel truth, even when that truth is
03:32offensive.
03:332 Apostasy in the pulpit when shepherds betray the flock.
03:37Perhaps the most sobering reality in the modern church is not the sin in the pews, but the
03:42apostasy in the pulpits.
03:45This denomination is led by men and women who have abandoned their biblical mandate.
03:50They no longer tremble before the Word of God.
03:53Instead, they traffic in emotionalism, therapeutic cliches, and socio-political ideologies, none
04:01of which can save the soul.
04:04The prophet Jeremiah described this kind of false shepherding.
04:08The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests rule by their own authority, and My people love
04:13it so, Jeremiah 5.31.
04:17The people are not just misled, they crave it.
04:20They want soft words and safe religion.
04:23And apostate leaders are more than happy to provide it.
04:27These pastors do not preach sin because it would offend.
04:31They do not preach hell because it would unsettle.
04:34They do not preach repentance because it would require change.
04:39They preach what is palatable, not what is true.
04:43This is not new.
04:44Paul warned that the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but will accumulate
04:50for themselves teachers in accordance with their own desires, 2 Timothy 4.3.
04:57That time is now.
05:00That description is this denomination.
05:02When the pulpit is weak, the church is defenseless, and Satan knows it.
05:08That is why his most effective strategy is to place false teachers in positions of influence,
05:14cloaked in religious language, armed with theological diplomas, but utterly void of the Spirit's
05:21power.
05:22True shepherds guard the flock.
05:24Acts 20.28.
05:26They feed the sheep the whole counsel of God, not candy-coated half-truths.
05:31But these apostate leaders are wolves in shepherds' clothing, and many follow their destruction,
05:382 Peter 2.1-2.
05:40The call to faithful pastors is clear.
05:43Preach the Word in season and out.
05:45Reprove, rebuke, exhort.
05:48The church must rediscover the holy fear of mishandling God's Word, and it must begin
05:54in the pulpit.
05:553.
05:56When darkness poses as love, Satan does not storm the church with horns and pitchforks.
06:02He walks in with a smile and a Bible.
06:05Paul warned the Corinthians that Satan disguises himself as an angel of light, 2 Corinthians
06:1211.14, and his servants as ministers of righteousness.
06:17Nowhere is this more evident than in a denomination that wraps sin in the language of compassion
06:22and calls compromise love.
06:25This denomination speaks endlessly of inclusion, tolerance, and acceptance.
06:31But love without truth is not love, it is cruelty.
06:35Tolerance of sin is not virtue, it is rebellion against God, affirming that which God condemns
06:41is not compassion, it is treason.
06:44They parade moral relativism in the name of grace.
06:49They elevate diversity over discipleship.
06:52They ordain leaders who defy biblical qualifications and bless lifestyles that Scripture unambiguously
07:00calls sinful.
07:02All of this is done under the banner of Christ's love.
07:06But the real Christ, the Christ of Scripture, was full of grace and truth, John 1.14.
07:12Not grace at the expense of truth, not truth devoid of grace, but both perfectly.
07:17This counterfeit love leads people to hell with a smile.
07:22It leaves them unrepentant, untransformed, and unprepared for the judgment seat of Christ.
07:29It is a darkness posing as light and many are deceived.
07:34The tragedy is compounded when this deception is institutionalized.
07:39Military students are taught to reinterpret Scripture through the lens of culture.
07:43Pastors are trained to avoid controversial texts.
07:47Theological cowardice is baptized as nuance.
07:50But make no mistake, this is the spirit of the age dressed in clerical robes.
07:55Real love warns.
07:57Real love weeps over sin.
08:00Real love says what needs to be said, not what the crowd wants to hear.
08:05And real love stands against the darkness, not shoulder to shoulder with it.
08:114.
08:12Call to discernment.
08:13Truth is not optional, it's life or death.
08:15We live in a time when discernment is labeled divisiveness and clarity is mistaken for arrogance.
08:22But Scripture commands believers to test the spirits, 1 John 4.1, to contend earnestly
08:29for the faith, Jude 3, and to be alert because the devil prowls like a roaring lion, 1 Peter
08:375.8.
08:38Yet in this denomination, biblical discernment is mocked.
08:43Sound doctrine is seen as outdated.
08:46Theological clarity is viewed as harsh.
08:49But God has never given His people the option to remain neutral.
08:54There is no middle ground between truth and error.
08:57We are not called to unity at all costs.
08:59We are called to unity in the truth.
09:02We are not called to peace with false teachers.
09:05We are commanded to mark and avoid them, Romans 16, 17.
09:10And we are not called to affirm every voice in the name of diversity.
09:14We are called to uphold the voice of God above all.
09:17This denomination has lost its ability to discern.
09:21Why?
09:22This denomination has lost its reverence for Scripture.
09:24When the Word of God is no longer the final authority, every voice becomes equal.
09:30That's not humility.
09:31It's spiritual suicide.
09:33Discernment is not optional for the believer.
09:36It is survival.
09:37In a time of counterfeit Christianity, the sheep must learn to recognize the shepherd's voice
09:44and flee from the stranger, John 10, 5.
09:48Judgment begins in the house of God.
09:50The Lord will not be mocked.
09:52Many assume that God's judgment is reserved for the unbelieving world.
09:56But Scripture says the opposite.
09:58It is time for judgment to begin at the household of God, 1 Peter 4, 17.
10:04The Lord will not overlook the corruption of His name by those who claim it falsely.
10:10This denomination has polluted His sanctuary.
10:14It has made peace with the world and declared war on His Word.
10:18And God will not stay silent forever.
10:20He is patient, but He is not permissive.
10:23He is long-suffering, but He is not indifferent.
10:27The book of Revelation gives chilling warnings to compromised churches.
10:31Ephesus lost its first love, Pergamum tolerated false teachers, Sardis had a reputation for
10:38life but was dead.
10:40To each one, Christ warned, repent or I will come and remove your lampstand.
10:46That is not just poetic, it is prophetic.
10:49The church is supposed to be a pillar in support of the truth, 1 Timothy 3, 15.
10:54When it becomes a platform for error, it becomes a stench in the nostrils of God and He will
11:00not be mocked.
11:01The world may celebrate this denomination for its progress.
11:06The culture may applaud its tolerance, but heaven is not impressed.
11:12Heaven sees a church that has betrayed its Lord, and unless it repents, it will be judged
11:17more severely than the world it tried to please.
