The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have released footage of an airstrike targeting the Syrian regime’s General Staff headquarters in the Damascus area. The operation is part of a broader series of strikes against military targets in Syria.
According to the IDF spokesperson, Syrian commanders had been using the targeted headquarters to coordinate military operations and deploy regime forces to the Al-Suwayda region in southern Syria — a predominantly Druze area that has recently experienced heightened tensions.
