00:00Meanwhile, the United Nations Children's Fund and the World Health Organization have

00:04reiterated the urgency for ceasefire in Gaza on humanitarian grounds.

00:08Representatives of these two international organizations warned that 90% of the population

00:12in the Gaza Strip is living in tents, which leaves them vulnerable to respiratory and

00:16other diseases.

00:18Food insecurity and malnutrition, the agencies further noted, that while there is an urgent

00:23need for Israel to allow humanitarian aid to enter the enclave to meet the basic and

00:27urgent needs of the Gazan population, this does not constitute a definite solution to

00:32their suffering.

00:33The UN officials also reiterated the urgency of a ceasefire to work towards peace.

00:42And the Syrian Army reinforced the lines of defense in the cities of Aleppo and Idlib

00:47following the incursion of terrorist militants.

00:50In a statement, the General Command of the Army and the Syrian Armed Forces said the

00:53move comes after terrorist organizations launched a large-scale attack from multiple

00:58directions on the Aleppo and Idlib fronts.

01:00They also stated that the measure is temporary and is only aimed at protecting civilian and

01:05military lives, as well as preparing for a counterattack.

01:09The military special forces in Damascus ratified their commitment to fulfill their national

01:14duty in the fight against armed groups and to restore the control of the state.

01:22Furthermore, Russian Armed Forces aircraft supported the Syrian counteroffensive and

01:27shelled the positions of the illegal armed groups.

01:30According to the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Enemy Parties in Syria, Russian troops

01:35eliminated no less than 200 terrorists.

01:37The Russian entity stressed that the anti-terrorist operations continue.
