00:08love island podcast my name is amy hart and i'm india polack and for the final time this week
00:13please welcome joe back hey y'all morning y'all good morning oh it's my last day oh i'm sad it's
00:21been an amazing week to be doing this i mean what a week to have it what a night it was last night
00:26i'm frazzled still the snacks by the way i'm still full from last night guys we had a full-on feast
00:31yeah we had picky bits for tea but look we have so much to get through we have a lot of gossip we do
00:38before the drama of movie night there was something that had to be sorted out and that was meg and
00:44so obviously the night before last we saw them have the closed off proposal yeah it didn't go well
00:50so it was time to write that wrong if that's the kind of thing you believe in and for meg and
00:55dijon to finally become closed off do we think this is it for them do we think they're exclusive
01:00now and his head will not be turned again i feel like it's just gone on too long we've now had movie
01:05night so dijon has no choice but to shut it down and just stop flirting you know it's gone on so long
01:11though it kind of low-key doesn't mean anything anymore in my mind i think he should have asked her
01:15to be his girlfriend i agree with that and i also think to make all that fuss with connor can you go
01:20grab her all this not even a pancake a waffle not even a flower no fruit i was like oh here we go
01:27a classic love island set up on the terrace not even a heart with some whipped cream like come on
01:31i thought it was pretty poor from my side it was a little low budget and i feel like he could have
01:35literally asked meg up there and she would have went we didn't need connor to do the little oh bring
01:40her up to the terrace no juice you've put her through so much yeah and you couldn't have even
01:45handed her a coffee when you asked her yeah i don't know guys i'm not buying it i do think it
01:51should have been boyfriend and girlfriend at this point they've had so many tests it's been exam season
01:56all season she's doing her gcses um it should have been boyfriend and girlfriend and i know the haters
02:03will say it's too early they've only known each other four weeks if you spent and i've said it before
02:09and i'll say it again and i will die on this hill that amount of time together like in concentrated
02:15time sharing a bed together someone would be breathing down each other's necks someone would
02:21be your girlfriend or your boyfriend after that amount of time on the outside so they should be
02:24boyfriend and girlfriend and i think oh babe i've closed it off for guys quicker than that i don't
02:29think that's happened because i don't think daijon wants it to happen daijon if he wanted it to
02:33happen he would have cuffed it ages ago and i think that's why it's gotten to this point because
02:38meg has gotten to her final straw he's seen that you know he's pushed her and pushed her and pushed
02:42her and he knows if he does it anymore she will literally leave so i think he's literally exhausted
02:46all his options he's flirted as much as he could get away with and now it's like okay i gotta be
02:51exclusive because i don't think he wants to be her boyfriend at this point i mean look i'm happy to
02:56get a couple guys it's the end of week five and we finally got a couple congratulations and the bar is
03:02on the floor at this point obviously normally when people have this conversation it's like yeah i don't
03:06want to get to know anyone else nor do i oh my god so does this mean we're exclusive then yeah it
03:10does will you go exclusive with me like literally it felt like your brother in one of your tiktoks
03:15it did it was giving george bags energy yeah no i agree i agree it was very strange language used i
03:22mean meg seemed really happy about it we did say she also brought the girls over and told all of
03:26them about the big news and they were not impressed i don't think it was giving what
03:32she had hoped that situation would give there wasn't really a cheer i was like oh yeah she told
03:37them and everyone's like well done do you know i think it's because everybody has witnessed
03:42dejeon's behavior and it's just sort of like we've seen this happen time and time again and we
03:46actually expected maybe they just wanted a bit more for their neck and it wasn't nothing wrong with
03:50that a lot of the time coming back being like oh my god you never guess what happened
03:53literally the day before they've seen them arguing over andrada and basically meg forced
03:58him you don't got this off now everyone's like oh that's romantic again the bar's on the floor
04:03the bar's on the floor and not mug yeah all right bombshell entrances shocking twists and stunning
04:10pre-love fashion could the villa get any better let's dive into all the love island fits with ebay
04:16it was a heart racing start to the week with harry making tough decisions between shakira and
04:21helena thankfully he kept his call in a pre-love patterned shirt worn previously by series 11's
04:26omar helena followed suit with a spin on the georgia varsity jacket worn by villa bestie emily
04:31during ebay's preppy americana party just goes to show a great statement pre-love piece slays every
04:37time and after setting things straight with harrison earlier in the week birthday girl tony got the
04:42greatest gift turning heads in the gorgeous metallic bronx and banco dress last seen on all star 2's
04:49grace and rekindling their fiery romance once again that's the power of pre-loved so if you're

04:59right let's get on to the nitty-gritty which was movie night yeah so kicking it off we had harry when
05:05he met shakira helena and rio yeah we saw a fair few clips of you know harry doing his do we saw him
05:11kissing in bed with rio we saw harrison talking about well how the hell did you get away with that
05:16it was a lot going on that was such a strong start yeah clips i was genuinely screaming at the tv
05:23and i think i speak for the whole nation when we say that we just wanted to see this come to light
05:29because he has been moving so mad in that villa and i think it was just nice for everyone in the
05:34to see what we have seen however how is this man still not rattled i have so much like cortisol in
05:41my bloodstream right now just like how is no one buying this or you know i mean they're just like
05:47cool that end bit with them talking about megan de jean that should have been its own film because
05:53that clip of harrison and harry when he was like how are you still getting away with this is i'll get
05:57away with everything tonight like we've been waiting for that for yeah one whole day
06:01to be a movie that we have been saying for the whole day and then it was in there and then because
06:06of that last clip of them talking about megan de jean and are they game playing do they even like
06:10each other it got skirted over everyone had forgotten about it yeah and i feel like it didn't get the
06:15beef that it deserved and i think again helena was our nonchalant unbothered queen and she was
06:20smiling and i thought baby why are we smiling through this disrespect it was scaring me it was a lot i mean
06:25however our good sister shakira she did bring it up and she's like wait de jean don't make this about
06:30you helena how do you feel about seeing that yeah however what i've gathered from helena i don't know
06:34her personally but i do feel like she's not a confrontational girl and it is very apparent that
06:39when these situations are happening it's very awkward for her and she doesn't know what to say
06:43i think she is very aware of how harry is treating her i think she's aware that she does you know look a
06:48bit silly at times and he can be quite embarrassing but i genuinely think she does not know how to handle it
06:53i totally agree and last night it really put it in black and white like that was so confronting
06:58for her to watch that there's no way to skirt around this now with the harry situation i think
07:02she just has to address it for herself i could see i don't know if you guys noticed but her face
07:07really changed midway through she was smiling but she then started to notice and i think you could
07:13see her being like oh my god this is actually happening in that moment she's probably thinking
07:19well what am i supposed to do dump him around exactly but guys those clips from harry they
07:24were not good and then we had even more clips from harry when we had the helena games as well
07:29and it was him saying you know i only do it to her because she lets me get away with it i wouldn't do
07:33it to you to shakira yeah and this getting away that thing is mad do we think he's going to continue
07:38to get away with it we saw a little preview for sunday night's episode last night you know what as
07:42horrible as it is i feel like if helena doesn't either bin him off yeah or put him in his place but at this
07:47point there's no point putting him in his place because he's done so much already i do think he
07:51will continue to do and just like you know tony was saying to meg dajon and harry they don't do
07:57these things in front of you they wait till your back's turned they wait till you're on a date they
08:00wait till you're in cast us do these things and it's like if it's not the things like movie night
08:04helena will never know you know and i think that was the turning point for helena that conversation
08:10because i think that his actions have been disrespectful but i think those words really hit
08:16different he actively like said oh you know like i do this because you know i just walk all over
08:21essentially and i think that was the moment where she was like hold on yeah you crack on or kiss or
08:26paul dates whatever but to actually say that she thought oh there's no coming back i think for the
08:31longest time like helena has convinced herself that her and harry are very similar yeah but that's under
08:36the impression that you know he doesn't mean any harm yeah so to hear somebody admit that they know
08:40that they are hurting your feelings and they're just you know going happy about it i think that's
08:45what's hurtful and that's just sort of like oh maybe you're not the kind of person i thought you
08:48are interesting as well while we're talking about them later on like right at the end of the episode
08:53meg and helena have their little whispered conversation this is the subtitles and she was
08:59saying this is what we've been telling you since the get-go like yeah he does it and you let him get
09:03away with it so hopefully she'll listen as i said earlier this week it only takes for you to realize
09:07in these situations and then you think okay yeah i need to listen to myself now sometimes you do need
09:12your friends to tell you or you need to see it for yourself to be like oh actually maybe this is
09:16wrong on to tony and harrison they had a movie each so tony had she's all tony and it was like a
09:23montage of her being iconic and everyone's like i love this that was a show real i mean it was a show
09:28real that was a show real she can just ask for that and just chop the end someone needs to make
09:32that into a fan edit and then put like the shakes on it and like the music i've already seen one
09:36everything i've already seen one absolutely fab phenomenal she is the queen of the one-liner
09:40and we love her for it but then at the end it was her like the mask slipped her big persona was
09:46gone it was her crying on the terrace about harrison oh that was rough even we were watching it like
09:51this like it was awful i think the reason why as well wasn't it was because we wanted that clip
09:55to really just show her as the you know the bad girl that she is it was a secret also nothing's a
10:00secret like it was a secret i know and it didn't really portray actually how she feels i don't
10:04think she was just having a bit of a weak moment very out of context wasn't it yeah
10:08our character and i just feel like sometimes we want to have a little cry to our girls
10:12but you know the love island god's like everyone everything baddie's cry too and she was allowed
10:17to cry but i think harrison really lapped that up and i felt awkward for cash as well yeah i think
10:22harrison and cash showed how polar opposite they are harrison was like oh yeah i didn't expect it from
10:27you if you were going to recouple right now who would you recouple with and she said get the f out of
10:32my face harrison whereas cash was like obviously we've only had three days together we've got a
10:37good connection she's obviously not gonna be able to switch her feelings off i'm not gonna come at
10:41her for being like emotional the man speaks what a guy the man speaks sense he's mature yeah he knows
10:47that this is a real life connections with real life people and you can't just switch them off like
10:50that whereas harrison sat there licking his lips young boy in the building young boy aka harrison yeah he
10:57was exposed for a lot of things and being that how we spoke to helena in his past couple of days i
11:02feel like he's come back from castro more he's been coupled up with lauren having a good time
11:05you know he's been trying to crack on with tony again and acting like he's being sweet and you know
11:10harrison likes to have a backup plan is what i've noticed and he always likes to have one just sizzling
11:16away and i think that he's been so full on with lauren he's really lost tony with this recoupling and
11:22therefore he's so on edge and that's why all this stuff's coming out and when we saw that
11:26conversation between him and tony he was like do you miss me you know do you think i look good and
11:31all that it's wild he's just trying to get back i mean when lauren was like i don't like the way you
11:35said do you miss me do you need to say that do you say that why is nobody talking about the bathroom
11:39why is nobody bringing that up even tony said to shakira like you know he was talking to me in the
11:43bathroom he had his hands on my waist like saying all these things and she's like don't do that you
11:47know it's like you're trying to get over an ex and they're still texting you or they're still being
11:51nice they're making it very hard for you to get over them i mean she's living with him so all these little
11:56you know thank you little touches and do you miss me it's hard why is nobody saying this like tony
12:01come on and when she's i owe you nothing you owe me nothing i'm like no owe them something that was
12:07frustrating but i do understand that like harrison needs to stop hiding behind his words like a lot
12:12of the guys are and actually just vocalize what's happened i feel like with everything that happened
12:17i feel like up until movie night tony has been very confused a little bit like she's been battling
12:22with herself whether she still really likes harrison or if she needs a bit of closure to get over it
12:26but i feel like the clips that she saw what really stood out for me it was like
12:30when she saw the way harrison was flirting with other girls and she said to him why did you not
12:34just leave it when i left you and i feel like that spoke volumes because sort of like what is your game
12:39plan here because you had every opportunity to get back with me you're saying all these things now
12:44but everything that movie night is showing is the complete opposite why are you going into casa more
12:48and saying i didn't really find it that attractive you know it's seven out of ten yeah we had a good
12:52couple of days all of this when she shut it down with you and you ran back tony is so well within
12:58a right to be frustrated yeah and also if you're trying to get over an ex and you're looking up in
13:03your bathroom mirror and they're behind you imagine that at home imagine you look up and it's like
13:06a horror movie and that's what he was doing he was like haunting her behind i'm like let the woman
13:10breathe you know mourn you know mourn the loss of this relationship on that note as well hilarious
13:16earlier on in the episode when ben came in to apologize to tony and she wasn't really having any
13:20bit and they had that photo of him connor and tony and he had her in the headlock and they're all
13:25doing this she had her middle finger up that poor girl can't catch a break she's supposed to go to
13:29the bathroom yeah yeah she's getting apologies for ben harrison just stood there tapping on her waist
13:33she's sick of it it was the whole sort of back to reality remember's like we don't know when our
13:37last day will be so let's just make up it's like okay it's like i want to ask harrison all these
13:42questions about you know why didn't you just leave it if you weren't that interested if there was no
13:46sexual connection there etc why didn't you just leave it the question is if they do get back
13:50together oh we're gonna have to forgive him no we can forgive but we don't forget oh you took the
13:56words right out of my mouth next up it was the turn of meg and dejon to get their movies we had
14:03good dejon hunting the meg and then also let's talk about free billy kiss as well because i feel like
14:08that basically was about them as well yeah so good dejon hunting was a lovely montage of dejon telling
14:15all the girls he's open and having a lovely lovely flirt with them yes um calling andrada baby girl
14:20which meg was the most annoyed about yeah do you think that was because that was sort of the most
14:25recent information do you know what i think it is i feel like meg has made her love languages very
14:30clear and i feel like by the looks of it words of affirmation is a very big thing for her even when
14:35it comes down to the my meg they've clearly had a conversation where dejon at some point is like
14:39you know i don't really say these things to girls that you know i'm not really deep or serious
14:42with baby girl being one of them so her hearing that was probably a bit of a trigger and it's
14:46just sort of like well why are you calling other girls these cute little nicknames when you said
14:51that was between me and you thing is is he said oh it's part of my language it's part of what i say
14:55they've been in the villa for five weeks now he's like best friends with like helena you know he gets
15:00on some of the other girls and stuff do you think he's ever called them baby girl no we haven't heard
15:05it and i mean it doesn't look good paired with a mirror shot of we look good together does it
15:09and it was not a good night for dejon let me tell you that now but he didn't seem to care
15:14dejon deflects everything blames everyone else and then when all else has failed he goes i'm bored
15:19now i'm bored now don't talk about it let's just end this now end this now i would find it so
15:24frustrating it was a hard watch and you know what i just one thing that i'm really glad that came up
15:30you know by the way that whole free billy situation when we had to watch through frustration him
15:37saying oh you know what i don't want to get to know you inside or outside the villa and then we
15:40grabbed him by the shirt we literally had it in 4k him saying yeah i think you're really attractive
15:44i do want to get to know you and it's like the absolute information was there and he still had
15:50nothing to say but this is what stresses me about meg i'm like meg you're seeing this now she did see
15:56it and she did actually say to billy he's like i get where you're coming from now i feel like
15:59apology i was gonna say the gap was there for the sorry and it never came yeah there weren't many
16:04apologies no there wasn't any apologies shakira did apologize yes oh yeah and helen actually
16:10yeah helen did as well i'm glad though that this was cleared up with billy kiss because i did think
16:15it was really unfair the way dijon made her feel and i can imagine that in some ways might eat up
16:20at you in the village you think that was really unfair i didn't get to say my piece it's easy for
16:24like the main villa girls to just not believe what she's saying of course you know i mean she's only
16:27been there like a few weeks or whatever so i'm glad that she got you know her justice free billy kiss
16:32the other person i'm glad got their justice tony was avenged tonight for the breathing down my
16:38neck comment yes and i think meg did actually say like actually tony you were right with that
16:42because she obviously said it in the quotes challenge and it all kicked off and everyone
16:45was really horrible to her and said that she was out of order and she was jealous
16:48and then it turns out when he went to caprice he did also say basically repeating parrot fashion
16:53what he'd said before without meg breathing down my neck and then meg did say well you know i don't do
16:59that however i think we saw then other clips whereby meg was hanging around the doors going
17:04into conversations and i was kind of like i don't know what definitions of breathing down necks are
17:08in this villa you don't mean it literally yeah but i think that it was happening we'll talk about
17:13shakira's one later but meg had been quite vocal about like that's really mean i can't believe you
17:17just said that that's really shakira that's really horrible you shouldn't say things like that
17:20cut to like 30 seconds later and meg's like that's it walk down your catwalk and to be fair
17:27like someone's saying to me like walk down your catwalk like it is a bit of a catwalk they are
17:32strutting off whatever yeah but then when she went into yeah well i'm not going to tell you walk
17:36weird am i they're like so you're saying that i walk weird because also before meg actually confessed
17:43to that i didn't even think that's what she meant no i thought it was kind of just sort of like oh walk
17:46away you know you've got a long walk to go like go ahead and do it and then she added in oh yeah i was
17:50saying that you walked with i was like oh well i didn't know that well didn't you say like you were like
17:54idiots and then tony was like so you think we're idiots now yeah look everyone talks about everyone
17:59and you are never going to like everyone and it's like work it's like school you're going to be
18:04surrounded by people that you don't see eye to eye but you just get on with it yeah the thing with
18:08shakira is she stood on what happened in her movie and she said something along the lines of it was
18:12nasty but i intended it to be nice yeah i mean come on the thing with meg was she could have said i also
18:19said that and i intended that to be mean but let's all kind of kiss and make up it wasn't it was
18:23almost like a pr thing and everyone being like no i'm nice no i'm nice yeah and it was a lot and
18:27that argument at the end between meg and shakira was very heated wasn't it it was yeah they were
18:32all fighting at the end and i think one of the boys said to jean should we break this up and he
18:36said yeah he said no because then they'll come for us yeah like all the time they're fighting
18:40they're not thinking about us and then waited for the fight to run its course and then he was like oh
18:46don't do this to meg you had so much time to actually butt in and be like hey guys let's stop this
18:51if that was my man and helena was silent and all the girls were saying that to meg regardless of
18:58who is wrong i would have expected him in the first 10 seconds ago i think you'll need to just like
19:02lower your tone a little bit and speak to each other the fact that he just sat there sipping
19:06his white wine as quoted in this episode i thought it was bad and if i was meg i would have been raging
19:11at that it was really interesting how there's this massive fight going on and helena is sat there
19:15not moving nothing she didn't say anything but this backs up both of your point earlier about
19:21her not liking confrontation yeah i think she's very awkward when it comes to confrontation i don't
19:24think she enjoys it and i think not that she's not aware of her actions i feel like helena does
19:29stuff just because she wants to and i feel like she knows that there's going to be backlash from it
19:34but i don't know what kind of person she is but she doesn't know how to deal with it after yeah i think
19:38it's purely that some people are just not built for confrontation and i think yeah as you said she
19:43can be who she is but in those situations i she looked terrified i'm not here she was watching free
19:48billy yeah she literally was just like she's like can i have another film oh totally another argument
19:55that came was from shaka blanca which was shakira's movie now this was a supercut of her slagging off the
20:04others basically which in a supercut like yes it looks bad but if like us you've watched the
20:11episodes start to finish since day one you'll know that she had real feelings that were really hurt
20:16and this was just reactions to other people's actions yeah they were all contextually driven
20:22by helena and her behavior or others and so i agree with you it's like if someone clipped up all of my
20:29worst moments from the last year i'm obviously gonna look like the worst person alive but they're all
20:33due to things happening around us yeah so i agree if you're putting her in a situation with a love
20:38triangle constantly of course she's gonna say those things and the thing is so much stuff happens in
20:42there but the others aren't gonna really especially the ones who are maybe on the helena side of the
20:47villa they're not gonna choose to remember any of that behavior they're just gonna be like yeah
20:52and we saw shakira in that video saying this and saying that and she's out of order i just think
20:57she's been done really dirty with that video and i like the way shakira said to meg how would you like it
21:02if someone you know borrowed your bikini and then went and got with dejean she would be first to
21:07blow the roof of that villa so why is it not okay for shakira to have that opinion as well and meg
21:11tried to say no i wouldn't i wouldn't so you've never been in that situation but we've also seen
21:15how meg behaved when militia was in the look at how he went three two one and it was actually 30
21:21seconds later when we had the meg you know like on sundays when my is like here are your best bits yes it was
21:27just like if my said here are your worst bits yes exactly and i think both of their movie nights
21:31cancelled each other out yeah and i think everyone's gone back to a level playing field
21:35personally yeah yeah that was the end of movie night but we saw the preview for sunday night's
21:39episode we did i'm so excited it's the fallout so what are our predictions do we think the girls
21:44will make up do we think harrison and tony might end up back together helena and harry is at the end
21:49megan dijon i don't even know i think megan dijon are up for a rough week i think that ben and
21:56andrada are fully done great news for a lima great news great news for you the person that's come off
22:02the best out of this situation is a lima well done a lima and i do think there is hope for tony and
22:09harrison i just don't know when and how and i know your face is saying you don't even want it but i just
22:16there is an undeniable don't start that again i actually really want tony to stay with cash
22:23but i feel like it boils down to she hasn't known him long enough and she did have a really strong
22:29connection with harrison and i feel like now that he's trying to worm his way back in and they're
22:33both coupled up when both of you are doing the same thing and you're still low-key gravitating
22:38towards each other it kind of makes you feel like uh should we just work through this but also
22:43like the thing is the thing is guys cash is so lovely and he ticks every box in terms of just
22:52like you know a really nice respectable guy sometimes we don't want those guys and i don't
22:58know whether maybe as much as cash is lovely tony's like he's not giving me that but you know thrill no
23:04but i don't think cash is too much of a nice guy to the point where it will give tony the ick i feel
23:08like he can give her that sort of like grit that she's looking for i think it's simply just the
23:12comfortability that she is with harrison she's known for long she's to us feelings and then
23:16she's thinking is this a test for us when sometimes it isn't a test and you do actually need to move
23:20on yeah but it is hard like she has known him longer and you can see that she still does have
23:24a bit of feelings around i think one of the other issues is that cash is so mature he's very like
23:28look i'm not gonna have a go at you for being emotional you had a great connection you can't
23:32turn those feelings off so i feel like he won't graft for tony and be like come on i'm the better
23:38option come on come on come on he won't graft for her but i do think if she starts now giving
23:43more attention to the harrison situation i do think it will put him off because i do think he
23:47knows his worth this is the thing he does know his worth and we saw that in casa even the way he
23:51was speaking to her is very much like i'm not a mug yeah he's giving her grace right now but this
23:54is the thing so then when we're talking about predictions i really don't know how this will work
23:58out if she does start devoting more time to harrison finally prediction this could be you know
24:04wishful thinking but i do feel like maybe helena might see the light once and for all i know it
24:10might be a hard situation for her because from what i've watched she's not a very confrontational
24:13girl but maybe this will open her eyes about the whole harris situation she might decide to just sort
24:18of put it to bed there might be that or maybe in another universe there might be a point where
24:24he understands the severity of what you know she's seen and they might have a good couple of weeks so
24:30they really do connect to have some nice dates and really do close things off and he actually
24:34says this is no longer a lad's holiday and i'm going to come in here with the view of finding love
24:38and but the thing is i don't think that will happen unless helena gives him a grilling because harry
24:42doesn't do things unless he's yeah i think that it will have to be a situation again where she backs
24:47off and has him come yeah forward again can we not manifest another love triangle let's go to the
24:52emma school of how to be in a relationship and emma can sit there with a teacher uniform and be like
24:57right helena this is how we do things here well that is all we've got time for today thank you
