"Teach Marathi in madrasas" Nitesh Rane dares Congress to start teaching Marathi in Maharashtra's Madrasas

Mumbai, July 16, 2025 (ANI): Maharashtra Minister and BJP leader Nitesh Rane has stirred debate by criticizing the Congress-led initiative to launch separate "Marathi Pathshalas" (Marathi learning centres). Rane said there is "no need for separate pathshalas" and suggested that the Marathi language should instead be taught in existing madrasas across the state.
